T his story really grows on you...
At first the book was a hard sell. Long time Audible customer with somewhere north of 600 titles read/ heard/whatever. These characters were steady companions for August and September. Looking forward to the next book -Blood of the Reaper. Until then...

Love this series!
The authors have shaken things up in this latest release and I am here for it! Thankfully, I didn't have to hate them for the shake-up as things moved quickly in the story while Hal and X work through some new and not-so-new challenges internally. Great listen and I can't wait for the next release!

Challenging read
Great action as expected from these characters but too many tropes of “getting the gang back together “ as this new series starts is challenging. I look forward to the series getting better in the books to come. I like these authors but expect “better(?)” (not sure that is the correct word )

Surprised to like it as much as I did
Loved how book 10 ended up the story line so really questioned if I would like starting out 10 years later. In truth it was much better then I expected. Liked it so much I bought books 12 and 13 right away.
