Publisher's Summary

Born on the Isle of Skye, Darcy is a beautiful woman of many gifts. Fortune-telling is her forte, and she remains the only Druid who could unlock the secrets - and desires - of a dragon king. His name is Warrick. And now that Darcy's seen into his dragon heart, nothing will ever be the same.

Warrick never intended to put Darcy in harm's way. But ever since she revealed a shocking truth, Darcy has been hunted by the Dark Fae who want to use her powers for their own evil purposes. Now it's up to Warrick to do whatever it takes to keep the woman who sets his soul on fire safe. But protecting Darcy means putting himself - and his entire race - in jeopardy. Is his desperate longing for one woman worth the risk of losing everything for eternity?

Warriors and kings and Druids !!!!!!!

Good book! I luv it when the Warriors and the Kings war together and help each other. I truly like this Anthony Furgos as a man voice but hate it as a woman voice, please do not be so cheap in the future and have a woman do her own voice. Please everyone help change the way audible books r done. Complain!!! Multiple voices please!!!!

Great Great Great

Donna Grant never lets us fans down. She brings us into her world of the dragon kings eith her words. I cried and cheered and laughed. It is always depressing when the books end. I want more.

Dumb as dishwater.

Darcy was stupid. This is book 6 & this story is getting tedious. Con (The King of Dragon Kings) has his faults but it seems that his main goal is to protect his people but he's surrounded by traitorous vipers. More than one of the 'Kings' has gone rogue in this series, either for a supposed mate or another king. It's getting hard to find any unity here.

He is a protector and she has aided the enemy

This book was originally read as apart of the Audible Escape package, then later purchased as a Kindle eBook to read at my own Leisure. Soul Scorched #6 in the Dark King series; which is a part of the greater Dark World. Characters from previous books appear and longer subplots are beginning to form.

Warrick with his powers of Protection must, protect and save a fortune-telling Druid from the Isle of Sky who has given aid to the Enemy. She is being attacked from all sides, his enemies and his friends…who can she trust.

As with all Donna Grant books in the Dark World series once you get in… it is hard to get out.

okay story. annoying female lead

I am so tired of weak female leads. whiney, question everything they are told, and go against warnings when in an unfamiliar situation female leads. Everytime she disregarded what she was told or acted like she didn't understand why people were upset with her, I felt actual pain.

Donna Grant is one of my favorite writers!

Not only is this series one of my favorites, but with my time being so monopolized these days I haven't been able to read. I don't miss a thing with my audio now. I listen to her stories on my way to work and home. This is actually a great form of meditation for me.
Antony Ferguson is astounding. He narrates better than any other. Donna writes with an Irish, English, and Texan accent. She also writes in Scottish brogue. I'll be doggone if Antony doesn't do each to perfection. He has brought her writing to life! Well done!
