A new take on a classic sci-fi genre

We've all wondered what it would be like if we had chosen a different path, said yes instead of no to that question or opportunity. But what if that alternate reality was thrust upon you without your permission? That is the reality that Sophie lives in... Or alternate reality.

Sophie is still recovering from a horrifying experience that has changed all of her plans for the foreseeable future. She is then thrown for a loop when an unknown person gives her the means to travel across alternate dimensions. Minus the instruction manual. She wakes up in a world not quite her own, with a splitting headache and ...are those the voices of her alternate selves chatting in her head? She must figure out which of her friends she can trust to discover who did this to her and why.

The author does an excellent job of immersing you into Sophie's reality as she comes to terms with the alternate versions of the people she once knew. The narrator offers insight into the other characters by giving subtle hints at their personalities based on the tone of their voice. What a cad. A great spin on the classic time travel, sci-fi trope with a dash of whodunnit. I cannot wait for the next instalment of this series!
