It was supposed to be a myth. A cautionary tale meant to stir fear and superstition. But Cyos, the living nebula, is real—and it's here.

As panic spreads through the fragile UMO alliance, its Marck protectors—controlled by Crix—begin to fail without warning. Kerriah, driven by love and desperation, knows that the young Tolagon who stole her heart is dying somewhere deep within the Central Core. Now, with allies rallying to her cause, she prepares to attempt the impossible: his rescue.

But that’s not all that haunts her.

Her trusted friend and mentor, Plexo, vanishes shortly after completing reconstruction of the Gammac Corridor Zeta. The UMO destroyer Mertel, sent to investigate, disappears soon after, its last transmission—a distress call from Plexo’s homeworld, Eesolan—cut off without explanation.

And then the sky changes.

A blazing cloud of cobalt and gold ignites above them, and with it comes a storm of madness infecting the minds of entire populations. Something ancient and powerful has returned—and only one force might stand against it.

To stop the unraveling of her world, Kerriah must locate a hidden gateway to Gabor, unlock the secrets of the Laggorns, and face the darkness that even myths dared not name. Civilizations are collapsing, and reality itself begins to twist,

In the epic conclusion of the Tolagon series, destinies will collide, secrets will be unearthed, and not everyone will survive.

It has been a while since I listened to the first 2 books in the series. I’ve always been a fan of sci-fi but more so watching movies or shows mostly because my brain says hard no whenever there is anything remotely technical. However, this series was easy to follow along with the technical advancements through the series. The timeline in the book was a bit of a challenge for me but if you’re an avid sci-fi reader, I’m sure you won’t have an issue. Many people read piece things together but I read for the entertainment value of the story and this series is definitely entertaining and a magnificent journey. Kraf (sp?) is my absolute favorite and I need a book with him, his full background and story! Koriah (sp?) annoyed me a bit in the beginning of the book because she was a bit whiny but towards the end she became the strong, confident, kick ass female warrior we need. I was provided a copy (both print and audiobook) by the author for an honest review and my honest review is that you really need to read this series. The writing style got better throughout the series, the characters are well developed and engaging, the story is original and the journey was truly spectacular.

Great Series!
