Sonata is the conclusion to Liam and Samantha's story and should only be listened to/read after first enjoying Overture and Concerto. I couldn't wait to find out what happens in this taboo love story after the way book 2 ended. Sadly, things felt a bit disjointed and I never felt like there was a true resolution to the mystery that spanned through the series. I was happy to finally see Liam face his feelings though and be honest with himself and Samantha. The narration was great overall, but I did enjoy the chapters performed by Teddy Hamilton more. He was perfect again, as the tortured alpha, Liam North. I'm looking forward to Josh and Bethany's story next.

"You deserve someone as brave as you"

Both Liam and Samantha struggle with their own demons in this last installment. Liam feels guilty over his feelings for Samantha and for not always protecting his brothers. Fear also keeps him from letting Samantha in. Meanwhile she has fears of her own after what happened in the last book. I like how they slowly learn to overcome their fears together. Overall I really enjoyed the series as a whole. I do wish the whole book was only in their POV instead of setting up future characters. I love both Liam and Samantha that I wanted to focus on them and their relationship.

Narration was good as with the previous books. You'll have no problem getting lost in the story.

Disappointing end to an expensive trilogy

If I pay 3 credits for basically one book, I expect all of them to be as good as the first. These got worse by each installment. There just wasn’t much happening that I couldn’t have predicted.

love this series

I love the story. my only complaint is they should haven't gotten a reader who sounded younger. I couldn't picture the character as a 17 year old girl, when the voice sounded like a woman in her thirties at least.

Steamy, sweet finale

Audible listen. Same narrator me as the previous two books; they’ve done great with each recording. I like that there’s a female and male narrator. Both have nice voices. A good listening experience.

This is book 3 in this series and the finale for the main trilogy, so I’d recommend starting from the beginning. Samantha and Liam are recovering from the actions at the end of the last book, and trying to find a way to work romantically. The relationship drama; the back and forth junk, is a bit too annoying as it has been 3 books of it, but I do love the passion between Liam and Samantha. There’s also a pinch of a danger element to the story. I wish there was more action and danger in this series. This series would’ve worked fine as one book since it’s the same storyline throughout all 3 books, but I enjoyed the series as is. The writing style isn’t my favorite, but I would like to check out more books from Skye Warren. Overall, this was an entertaining, steamy read! The connection between Liam and Samantha is awesome! Plus, I love that Samantha uses her smarts and stands up for herself.

Excellent Conclusion

I received this audiobook free for an honest review as a member of Pink Flamingo Productions Review Team. This series, overall, was awesome. The tumultuous relationship between Samantha and Liam was exciting. Their relationship had a very strange beginning and to them it was hard to separate their beginning from their end. This was definitely one story that I couldn't stop listening to. I received Books 1 and 3 for free, but had to buy 2 because I couldn't wait to see what happened with the characters. The narrators were awesome as well. They definitely brought the story to life.

The prodigy becomes the teacher

This is the final book in the 3 part series of Samantha and Liam. Make sure you have read or listened to the first two books before you start this one or you will be lost. I feel like there will be more books around this story from Liam's brothers because we still do not find out the mystery around the plot to kill Samantha.

Samantha Brooks has spent her entire life being what others wanted her to be but when her future is threatened and the man she loves is shot she decides she is taking control of the one thing she can, her music.

Liam North loves Samantha even though he struggles with the guilt of doing so. There is so much history around them and demons that keep him from acting on his love but when Samantha is still under threat he will stop at nothing from protecting her and maybe she can protect his heart as well.

I really enjoyed this series. It is full twists and turns and a love between an older man and younger woman of which he was her guardian for years. There is that taboo factor that gives it the heat.

Grace Grant and Teddy Hamilton are perfect as Samantha and Liam. Grace gives you to feel for Samantha and Teddy is perfect as the alpha Liam. Great job.

I received a code from Audiobook Obsession to listen and review with my honest opinion. I loved it and highly recommend it but again make sure you have finished the first two books.

Audiobook Obsession review

This is book 3 in the North Security series. It concludes this age gap/guardian forbidden romance. Personally, I would place the series in the suspense or romantic suspense category. Note that this is not a stand-alone. I enjoyed the romance much more in this last installment. It is a little deeper and more pronounced here than it was in the previous two. The suspense was again terrific. The twists and turns definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. The bits of information given at the beginning of each chapter are always interesting.

Teddy Hamilton is great as always!

In sum:
It is a great series.
I think the series is more suspense than romance. There is chemistry but not much heat.
The writing and narration are excellent.

Well Skye did it, brought the story to a conclusion, with bearly a scratch to show for it. It however wasn’t without having to hang on for dear life on the roller coaster ride through the suspense, angst and intrigue in this highly charged romance.
Teddy & Grace had a lot to do with the transitions in their skilled narration, way to go both of you.

Crescendo

This final book in the trilogy continues the rollercoaster ride of Concerto. Answers to the cliffhangers were revealed, but those answers brought new questions, leaving you wondering. The narrators - WOW. Any performance by Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant is definitely worth the credit....they are amazing!! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Amazing trilogy

Finally got the last book in the series and I was so thankful, these books had kept me on my toes, on the edge of the seat while reading and just thinking the rest of the days to see what would happen next. This end was everything, from her father to Liam getting better. The chemistry between them was amazing, the romance was taboo at first but I thought it was perfect for them and this conclusion wrapped everything and left me in a great place. I am looking forward to read about Bethany and Josh. The audiobook is narrated by Grace Grant and Teddy Hamilton, they are perfect for this story and their characters, definitely worth getting the audiobooks.

Conclusion

Wow, this was quite a ride. This is not a standalone. This book is the conclusion of quite a ride. I enjoyed the danger and story in this book. It's always fun to read after the HEA :) I liked the story. I had fun with it. THe narration complemented the story and added an extra layer of fun to the characters.

Wonderful end to this trilogy

I really enjoyed this finale of Liam and Samantha story. It’s full of action and adventure as Liam and his company North Security ,which includes his brother Josh, try getting the terrible men who are after Samantha to come out of hiding so they can end this crazy path that leads to Samantha.

Lots of intrigue and secrets are revealed in this final book of the trilogy.

I must be really used to hearing Grace Grant as Samantha because she became her in this last audiobook of the series. Perhaps because Samantha was now a woman and not a girl. She does a fantastic job here. And Teddy was brilliant and well suited for the serious yet fiercely protective and loving Liam.

The was a spot when the narration switched to points of view from Josh and Bethany which was a bit confusing for me but after realizing who was speaking, felt it enhanced the book.

Skye Warren writes seriously sexy books that are really involved and well thought out. Amazingly written series. Must follow the trilogy in order to understand what is happening.

Must listen to this series in order.
This is the conclusion to the other two books (Overture and Concerto). They have to endure some tuff stuff to get their HEA. I was definitely back and forth on who to trust and what she should do. I felt like the ending was a little anti climactic considering we had three books to get through. The narration was great. I recommend this series.

Liam and Samantha!

Liam and Samantha may have escaped with their lives but the danger is far from over as we realize that the person who we thought was the target wasn’t and it becomes a game changer. The knowledge has not changed Samantha’s love of the violin but it has changed how she looks at it.

There are still many secrets to be revealed and Samantha may have the answers they need but uncovering them could be painful to everyone involved. Liam has been her rock since she was 12 years old but in this installment she shows how strong she truly is which makes her a perfect match for Liam.

Full of emotion, hot chemistry and intrigue this is a wonderful conclusion to Liam and Samantha’s story. I thought the narrators did a great job with the story especially when it came to the suspense parts as they made it feel like you could see the story unfolding. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

I have really enjoyed this series , book 1 and 2 for me were better but I loved listening and finding out what happened between samantha and Liam, definitely worth the listen

A passionate composition with a satisfying coda

I loved the conclusion of this trilogy. The pacing of this book seemed quicker than the other two. The action and the plot moved forward at a decent clip with lots of hot and heavy scenes included throughout. Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant did an exceptional job narrating from 4 different POVs for this book. I loved seeing Samantha come into her confidence and Liam breaking down his walls and letting Samantha in. I would have liked some additional description of the climax of the plot, the danger seemed to be resolved rather quickly when it took so long to build, but i still found the conclusion of this trilogy immensely satisfying. This audiobook was reviewed by an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer.

Wonderful conclusion to this trilogy!

I was so excited to get to hear the end of Samantha and Liam's story and I was not disappointed! These two have been through so much! This picks up where the second book left off, as Liam recovers from a gunshot wound. Willing to take a bullet for Samantha says so much! The push-pull continues with this taboo relationship, but Samantha does not give up! And the action surrounding her performance, along with the impending danger is thrilling. Some surprising characters pop up and some interesting revelations occur.I loved their story from start to finish, and Warren did them justice in the end!

The team of Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant finish out the series with their wonderful narration. I really enjoyed Hamilton's portrayal of Liam. He gives him an edge of malice with conflicting tenderness that just suits his personality. Grant is confident and secure as Samantha, and with her inflections lets us know exactly how she is feeling. A fantastic performance by both made this trilogy enjoyable!

I was addicted to this series from the first page. Skye Warren created an intense masterpiece of a story and it has been an intense journey for these characters. We watched Samantha, a music prodigy, grow from a young girl to a beautiful woman. She was Liam North’s ward, he took her in after her father was killed. She has been in love with Liam, but Liam always pushed her away. He was her protector, he could not be her lover too. After an attempt on her life they fled to safety and into hiding while Liam recovers from his injuries. Samantha reenters public life in hopes to draw out those who are after her and put and end to it once and for all. Liam and North Security come up with a plan and massive protective detail for Samantha. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is well plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments as well as heartfelt ones. Yay to the epic conclusion and the HEA for these two characters, they are perfect together and for each other. Skye Warren, thank you for this awesome story and series!

Grace Grant and Teddy Hamilton are talented narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and personality, as well has heart and attitude. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen.
