Armchair diagnosing - Should be removed

Host and team are armchair diagnosing a ton of people and inciting mob stalking and harassment. Don't support.

Really bad editing

The story is there but man...the editing is so bad it is distracting. At one point you can tell the music track is on a 10 second loop (like when you don’t buy the track) and just keeps going over and over while the host talks about anti social personality.

Virtually No There There

Unprofessionally conducted interviews made with poor sound equipment, and though an editor is credited, there’s no sign of any editing at all - just hours of raw data and recordings about a guy with a personality disorder who is a compulsive liar and control freak. And the super religious “victim” and her family seem to have a very odd dynamic that includes gross over-sharing with everyone and infantilization of an adult daughter. Im glad they pulled together to help extricate their daughter. This might’ve made a mildly interesting 60 min show, but the story is stretched painfully thin and padded so thickly with tons of extraneous info - you just feel like a sucker once you finally reach the end. Very anticlimactic.

WTF!!

The entire podcast so far has been eye opening and unreal! I know people have horrible motives, lie, steal and can be abusive...Dick takes the cake! He was dedicated to his lies...I can’t believe he made up friends!

Some of the situations remind me of two of my exes...my Mom hated one so bad she littered my neighborhood with flyers that said he was a woman beater! God bless great parents!

My favorite line from the episode was, “time flies when you’re talking Dick!” LOL

Thank you Sarah for sharing your story...this podcast is amazing! I’m hooked!

Couldn’t get passed the premise

15 minutes into the first episode I am already annoyed by the premise. I don’t believe for one second that a 30 year old woman who gives so much control to her parents is someone wise or discerning. Not to mention that everyone said there were no red flags. Uh hello? The guy was weird from the get go.

Update: I am on episode 5 and it has only gotten worse. The dad actually said “ you’re my daughter, your not married yet so you still belong to me” the mom used the word covenant many times. The adult daughter blames everyone but herself for problems 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Informative

I enjoy the podcast very much. I would prefer more precise numbering as to when a series starts. I do not like the theme music, but I really loved the different series.

You get what you deserve

Anyone who gives away your dog for a man honestly doesn’t deserve the dog. You watched him cut off dogs airways ? Sorry you deserve whatever horrible thing happened. You are clearly a not a bright woman and certainly no Christian. Thank goodness that dog got away from you. Never get another.

Leave politics out of it.

I loved listening to all the stories, until you brought politics into it. I hear enough of that every day. I listen to the podcasts to escape, not to have someone's political views shoved on me.

100% Accurate

This was my life for 15 years. Raised 3 children with a man like Dick, by the grace of God we survived and got out. He committed suicide. It’s been 8 years and we’re all still traumatized. Thank you for sharing your story.

A Must Listen!

By far my favorite podcast! Such incredibly powerful stories of some of the strongest people. Both relatable and informative.
