More Than a Love Story

While this was indeed a beautiful true love story, it was so much more than that alone. Patty does a wonderful job of telling her and Dave’s love story of the past intermingled with the horrors of their more recent battle with Dave’s cancer. You get an inside look at a situation that many people try to keep very private and in as much often suffer very much isolated. This book has something for every adult, whether cancer or some other chronic illness has touched you personally or from a distance. Patty provides open access to their struggles physically, medically and emotionally and how they handled and she continues to handle them. It was a great book but also a great resource.

Anyone and everyone will enjoy this story! Amazing!!

Patty really brings her and Dave’s story to life. You get to know them on a personal level which just makes it even better! I laughed, I cried, but more than anything I felt connected to the author through her willingness to be so open, honest, and vulnerable when describing these life experiences. For anyone that is unfortunately in a similar situation dealing with a terminally ill loved one, or has lost a loved one and is struggling to find purpose or meaning to life…Patty’s story can assure you that you are not alone in your feelings and there is no right or wrong way to deal with grief.
