Do you like sap?

Lisa is a good writer but tends to be too sappy and it gets tiresome before the end of the book. Her women protagonists tend to be weak weepers and I think most women are much stronger than she portrays them.

Not expecting the twist!

Great book overall, and the twist at the end is not typical of expected at all. A must listen to!

Great entertainment!

We listened to this book as we traveled and the ride seemed to fly by. This book kept our attention and suspense. Good listening.

Good. Not my favorite.

It’s a good premise. A couple of jaw dropping moments and some moments of suspense, but overall a bit predictable. Revelations at the end are a bit convoluted. Narration is excellent overall. A few swallows noticed from the male narrator, but voices are pleasant and easy to listen to, IMO.

Lisa Scottoline never disappoints with her details and drawing the listeners in multilateral the very end! Lisa Scottoline is the reason I have become addicted to audiobooks! I’m a fan through and through!!! Thank You for making me love books again. Especially on the go!!!!!

Compulsive Read!

I started and finished this book in one day, I simply couldn’t stop listening! The best books/authors captivate and stimulate, engage our emotions and perhaps, give us something to think about and be grateful for - this book delivered all!

Great story, complex characters

This book was amazing. The story has several unexpected twists and the characters have depth.

Boring and whiney

This book rambled on and on and on. There really didn’t seem to be a whole lot of point to the story. None of the characters were believable or likable . I kept waiting for something that never arrived. Sadly, I waited too long before I started the book to return it. I doubt I will listen to other books by this author.

Easy listen. I went through this book quickly and enjoyed it. It's the first book by this author I've read. I'll be trying another!
