My Husband and I Loved It!

We listened to the book together and enjoyed hearing such a relatable experience. My husband is also a liver transplant survivor. It was interesting to hear the details from another couple’s experience as we reflected on some of our own memories along the way. TJ did a great job in telling the story and the raw emotions involved in such a transformative experience. Congratulations to the Condons on your successful journey and thank you for sharing!

If life has ever smacked you in the face...

I think most people have either gone through a critical health care emergency, or love someone who has/or is.

This book is a unabashedly honest, humorous (yup - you will giggle), raw accounting and pretty much everyone should read or listen..

I have been through mine with a 4 year old daughter with cancer. She's fine now, 31 and the mother of two.

This book gives permission, as it were, to be human while being a care taker - and, I think, even more important, for those with loved ones (friend or family) going through something of this nature - gives a glimpse into the realities and may show how one can actually be of help.

absolutely worth a credit to listen to - or the purchase of a hard copy.

Completely Engaging

I thought I knew what I would hear as I started. I was wrong. Very wrong. I laughed. I cried. I learned so much. It was everything I expected but so much more. Everyone needs to experience this book. Focus, fear, love, frustration but most of all........HOPE. I simply cannot reccomend this enough.
