As a grandmother, I’ve carried a lot over the years, some of it joyful, some of it heavy. This workbook felt like a gentle, guiding hand helping me lay down some of that weight. Informative, straightforward, helpful and so applicable to daily life. This is not my first book on somatic therapy and some of these techniques I am already familiar with but this was a well written book that I would use as a resource and share for anyone interested and wants to increase their self awareness of mind body connection and overall increase their quality of life!

This audiobook teaches you how to feel better by using simple body and mind exercises. It helps with stress, big emotions and healing from hard things that happed in the past. I like how the book is easy to follow, it has breathing and stretching exercises and also has you writing in a journal, so you can reflect. Even though I have never tried somatic therapy before it has made me feel calmer and more in control.
