Love Heartstopper so...
Was offered this as an alternative to the Nick and Charlie audiobook and I really enjoyed it. So glad they got the heartstopper actress to read this. Michael is adorable and Tori's story really sings with me

EVERYTHING I WANTED
This was just INCREDIBLE!! Just came out this morning and I’ve already listened to the whole thing.
Not only is this a favorite book of mine, but to have Jenny Walser, who plays Tori in the Netflix show Heartstopper, narrate it? So wonderfully beautiful. Thank you Jenny, thank you Alice, thank you everyone.

Alice Oseman writes stories worth reading
Although she has gained a large amount of fame from Netflix’s adaptation of Heartstopper, Alice Oseman deserves to be widely recognized for all her works. Solitaire served to tell the story of Tori Spring and her life during a school mystery and on that base level, it’s a fabulous read with many twists and turns that really keeps the reader hooked. I didn’t expect that Tori would have this relatable personality that really resonates with myself and other young people. It’s surprising and refreshing that she’s not just this one dimensional hero type, but really someone dancing on the edge of insanity. For anyone who was a fan of Heartstopper or teen dramas in general, THIS IS A MUST READ! Also Jenny Walser’s performance in this was so spot on and in my mind, she will always be the voice of Tori Spring. All around amazing experience.

It reminded me of all the crazy thoughts one has during adolescence. So, glad Tori wasn’t alone and was able to let herself feel. It’s ok to not be ok, just get help call 988. You’re not alone. You do matter!

The Deep Emotional Connections
I love the emotional connections between the characters! Tori and Micheal’s friendship is written beautifully. The authors deep understanding of the complex feelings of depression and negative self talk truly feel realistic. I wish this was a book I could’ve read sooner especially in my teen years.
