Kinky Beauty and the Beast(s)

Okay, so not exactly following the complete story line, but if you watched the Disney version over and over as a kid (or when your kid watched it) you’ll hear enough things in common to make you smile or chuckle. This was my favorite so far in the series. The h wasn’t some whiny spoiled woman/child, she was willing to stand up for her beliefs and accept the consequences that may come from it. This should have been Isabella. She didn’t rebel just because she wanted to, there was a conviction and strength behind it. The H’s actually valued her and were willing to explain the fear they felt and the reasons for the punishments. There seemed an actual connection behind the relationship and eventual love.
I have a bit of an issue with the whole shame factor behind some of it. I can see in the beginning of the story, especially her being a virgin, but by the end, come on, own your sexuality! You’re mated to two men, why would DP be shameful when it’s what you all want and crave? Also, “naughty bottom hole?” Really? Again, at the beginning, okay. But at the end? Shouldn’t her mates be praising her willingness to submit to them and not making her feel like it’s a shameful thing to want be with and to please them?
The narrator did a good job with the men, and okay for the woman, but this would have been better with a woman for the female parts.
If you like a somewhat dark BDSM romance, this is one I’d recommend (especially if you can laugh when you hear and imagine “don’t go into the East wing!” “Why?” “It is forbidden!” A tale as old as time…

series. this is worth reading

It was great to listen to a book after the last one . Number 3I didn't like the end of the 3rd book. I wished it would have opened up to a better equality for women.

Sold to the Beasts

This was a fun book that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was about Michelle, Roan and Dane. Roan and Dane lost the woman they loved and might lose Michelle. There were nice sexy scenes and the men seem to love sexy punishments. Of course, she disobeyed to get the punishments. I highly recommend Sara Fields' books.

Garrett Reins did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Smoking

Purchased by a friend for two who had lost a mate and still mourning the lost. Only to be rejected. Puts the two through a challenge. Another great story by Sara Fields. Garrett Reins does a good narration. HEA and no cliff hangers

Another hit!

I've recently reread this series. Michelle is an illegal third child on a world that only allows two. She is shipped off to a detention facility and sold as a bride. She is excited to be a bride, but then she finds out her owners do not want another bride. There is punishment and spankings galore! Pet play as well! But, in the end, there is a HEA. Loved it!!! The narration by Garrett Reins is great as well. I love his different voices for the characters.
