Publisher's Summary

This audiobook is full of vital information which is aimed at providing the readers with the pros and cons of psychopaths and sociopaths, how to deal with them and how to know if you're with one. Sociopaths and psychopaths are slightly different, but both types of people have antisocial personality disorder. This basically means these people are monsters wearing human faces. They hurt people for pleasure and never feel remorse for the horrible things that they do. Having one of these people in your life is never a good thing. But that's where this book comes in. This book offers you tacit and helpful advice for spotting, avoiding, and defending yourself against sociopaths and psychopaths. Through a collection of anecdotes, this book helps you get inside the heads of these people. It also tells you how to protect yourself and how to heal from the emotional abuse that these types of people are likely to inflict on you.

As a human being, you have rights and you don't need to suffer because of some sociopath or psychopath that enters your life. Take steps to protect yourself now. They appear to be incapable of any true emotions, from love to shame to guilt. They are quick to anger, but just as quick to let go, without holding grudges. No matter what emotion they state they have, it has no bearing on their future actions or attitudes. Aggressive sociopaths use violence and intimidation and dominating behavior to get their way. Having control of their victims and experiencing the rush of power through their violence seems to be the only gratification that they get from life.

This audiobook is very easy to listen to, easy to understand, and highly enjoyable if you are interested in learning about psychopaths and sociopaths. When you get into listening to this book, you will be able to see how far we have gone with the research in order to help you achieve your aims with psychopaths and sociopaths.

SO INSIGHTFUL!

As someone coming out of a marriage clearly with a Sociopathic Narcissist, this has been SO insightful and reassuring to learn that these behaviours and responses are 'a thing'.... and that I wasn't 'mental' to feel duped or manipulated for so many years!!

I'm on my third listen... It's almost as though with every listen I feel better and better, stronger and stronger!

Its clear, simple language and well articulated narration makes this a truly accessible listen for anyone... And I highly recommend it!!!

Mixed Messages

Very interesting topic but terms sociopath and psychopath were mixed up in subsequent chapters creating confusion about the associated traits.

Makes an inherenting interesting topic seem dull

The monotone reading was clear but boring to listen to.

The writing was mostly dry and factual third person with scattered personal opinions in first person. There were multiple inconsistent definitions and statistics cited with no explanation for the methods used to gather these inconsistent results.
