Five tars

I am listing this book now and am absolutely glued to it. I have read almost all of it in three days. I have to remind myself to put it down so i can absorb it better but it is too darn good. This guy is a genius and instead of just telling you to change your negative thinking habits like most therapies, he really focuses on building your self esteem and confidence in ways i would have never thought of.

Really helpful

I never thought I had anxiety until I read this audio book and it has literally changed my Life! I called it by too many other names: shy, restless, arrogant, selective. Recently I had come out of an abusive relationship where one of the complaints against me was that I had social anxiety. Of all the insecurities that my ex may have preyed upon, this one turned out true

One of the best

I purchased this mostly out of curiosity but have learned so much about myself as I listened to the book. I've always felt like I have a hard time connecting with people, and thought of it as a deep and inherent (and insurmountable) flaw within myself.

insightful book that does help

Highly recommended.

I highlighted literally half the book. It was almost like it was written specifically about and for me. I've suffered from social anxiety for as long as I can remember, and this book gave me hope and helped me see that I'm not fundamentally flawed or broken.

One of the Best

At first glance, it may seem that it is only for men, but not so. Every piece of advice and worksheet can be used by a man or a woman with any degree of social anxiety. The book explains what's at the heart of social anxiety, and goes on to offer practical and realistic advice on how to overcome it. The section on "challenging your inner critic" is priceless. Good ides

If you label yourself shy, introvert, social anxious then this book is for you. It helped me understand myself and why I do things I do. If I would have read this book 20 years back my life would have been different. I now realize on how much I can achieve if I get over the inner critic inside my head.

Amazing

I plan on listing it a few more times to absorb all it has to offer, but on the first read through I feel like I have already learned so much. As someone who has struggled with social anxiety since I was around 4 or 5, I can feel a slight shift in me and a change in my thinking. Highly recommend.

unbearable

I found the accent and tone of voice unbearable. The sound kept skipping, there chapters are 7 in the book however on the ap it said 10. The information was limited.
