Against her instincts and as a favor to Alice, Eve caves in to Alice’s pleas to use Willow’s tracking skills in an attempt to catch the murderer and exonerate her boyfriend, all the while wondering if the man Alice is seeing is sending them on a wild goose chase.

A Halloween Mystery

It's Halloween time in Granite, Michigan! And what's Halloween without a little murder? Aiden and Eve are on the case, along with one of our favorite Search and Rescue Dogs, Willow. I love how the Police Department is starting to rely on Eve and her dogs more as the series progresses. I love Patti's writing, immersing us into the story. From the details of picking the Halloween Costumes to discovering April's new beau's history, the story is always filled with twists and turns. As always, Julie McKay's performance is fantastic!

Loved the setting of this book.

A perfect setting for a murder to go down. A Halloween party, supposed to be a fun night to celebrate the completion of Eve’s friend Sophia’s new riding arena, is anything but enjoyable.

Tensions rise between friends, when Alice’s mysterious new boyfriend is seemingly caught red handed. Can Eve’s search and rescue dog Willow, help Alice get answers? Can Eve and Sheriff Larson solve this complex case?

It was great to see Willow back in action. I couldn’t wait to see if Willow sniffed out a lead! She does have her work cut out for her with this challenging search.

Julie McKay’s performance of ALL the characters is fabulous. That’s correct, ALL the characters are brought to life by Julie, flawlessly. Easy to forget this is a solo performance. Most notably is Julie’s portrayal of Sophia, and her lingering worries with her struggling stable. I could feel this weighing on Sophia!

Thank you Patti for an intriguing story, Eagerly awaiting the next instalment.

Cozy mystery

A small town mystery story. I really liked this story it was entertaining. This is perfect to listen to while heading to work and back. Stories from this series has made me appreciate search and rescue dogs and how important they are for investigations.
For the people that do not want a 500 pg book but a good straight to the point story

Eve and boyfriend Aiden were anxious to meet his sister’s new boyfriend when the trouble begins. This is another well written story that is made even better adding the audio.
