Publisher's summary

The Bayou's baddest bad boy is back!

Joining the Navy was the second best thing that ever happened to Justin "Cage" LeBlanc, the rebel son of a no-account convict. The first was Emelie Gaudet, the love of his life - until he was forced to leave town and swore there would be snow on the bayou before he ever returned. Now, only his mortally ill grandma can bring the injured Navy SEAL back to Terrebone Parrish, where he must face his past - and Emelie, who's even more beautiful than she was all those years ago.

Bourbon Street blues singer Emelie is once bitten, twice shy. When she learns that Justin is back in town, she wants nothing to do with the once wild Cajun teenager who fled with the law on his tail-and broke her heart. But she can't deny the red-hot attraction between them - or his efforts to prove he's finally changed his hell-raising ways. Can she trust that this time the bad boy of the bayou will be the best man for her?

Terrific lol intriguing romance

This is my 2nd of the Cajun books wished I’d started at the first. I absolutely loved this one, it has really lovable characters and the most sarcastic, funny, generous, outrageous Tante Lulu. Her character was so fantastic partly due to the amazing narration of Mr. Harding.

I just love Sandra's books!

What made the experience of listening to Snow on the Bayou the most enjoyable?

The narrator did a great job with the characters' voices and kept a nice pace going.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Well, I'd normally pick the H or h, but I've read all the books with Tante Lulu so she has to be my favorite.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I felt lots of ups and downs. This book takes you on an emotional roller-coaster with a little humor thrown in. Not as many laughs as other books by SH, but I don't think this particular story-line warranted as much humor as some of her other books.

Any additional comments?

I'll be listening to this one again!

Tante Lulu is back!

Any additional comments?

You can't help but love the quirky little old lady that plays cupid for everyone. I loved Tante Lulu in all the previous Cajun romance series and would buy those on audiobook if they came out.*hint, hint*

This is starting another set so you don't have to read the ones before. Tante Lulu is a card and you never know what she's going to say. This is basically two young lovers forced apart finding their way over all the obstacles in their way back to each other. With a big push from Tanta Lulu.

J.F. Harding did an decent job. He does have different voices and tried hard with the Cajun accent. I would have preferred a better Cajun accent but I still loved the book anyway. Can't wait to see who Tante Lulu sets her sights on next.

Cajun Seal

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I purchased this book as J. F. read it. I own many of Sandra Hill books, but never really had the time to read them. Her humor is her best feature in her books, including this one.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

simple story with good humor to make it better.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

J.F. was good in this book. Good use of voices and he had a good reading pace.

Did Snow on the Bayou inspire you to do anything?

yup, enjoy family a bit more
