Publisher's summary

Maggie Douglas enjoys her reclusive life in the mountains. She writes her books, loves her dog, and enjoys the spoils of living at the base of the San Francisco Peaks in Northern Arizona. Hurt by a long-time lover in her past, she keeps people at bay and her life simple.

Ellie Falcon is dangerously beautiful and infinitely famous. Her life is ruled by her agent, her job, and an endless schedule of appearances. She stars in the number-one show on television and has the world at her fingertips, but she is desperately lonely and desperate to get away from everything - even who she is.

One snowy evening brings the two together in a way they never could have imagined. Can they both let the past go and let love in?

short and quick

I enjoyed this book. It was short, quick and sweet. I really enjoy narrator Hollis Elizabeth. She does a great job.

Good Story, but...

Story line was intriguing but the performance didn't quite do it for me, it took some of the 'ump' away from the story. So it was good but could have been better.
I'm a fan of Ronica Black and I know her books have better impact than this. Maybe another narrator for future books.

Uhaul? Well Narrated, Though..

There were plenty of opportunities for something akin to reality. Being a lesbian, I know we, in particular, burn brighter and hotter than others. I get the u-haul in this for that reason. On the other hand, we didn't get the bittersweet. We didn't get the fiery acquisition of the new lawyer. There were opportunities for realism and a touch of reality. Those opportunities were never conquered. Keep writing. There's good in this story. There just could have been more.

Might've been rated higher if...

I might've rated this higher if the narrator was better. She spoke way too fast most of the time and just left me wishing this was over sooner.
