Publisher's Summary

The Spring Creek Elementary School PTA Board, a coven of Mean Moms dressed in Uggs, yoga pants, and dermal filler, is up to no good, and Wynn Butler (middle-aged, uncool, and not bringing sexy back) is determined to find out what’s going on. With help from her two kids, a Roomba vacuum-turned-mobile surveillance drone, and a few close friends, Wynn launches a covert investigation that leads to the mother of all revenge capers at the school’s annual Fall Festival.

If you’ve ever fantasized about smoke bombing the idiot parent who has yet to master the fine art of the school drop-off lane or standing up and shouting “Liar, liar, Botox on fire!" during a PTA meeting, then this delicious tale of payback is for you.

What a great listen.

I am someone who drives for a living and would like to say as someone who listens to the radio or audio all day can be quite the audiophile. This book was very well written, and was just plain funny. The storyline was good and it legitimately wanted me to keep listening so I knew what happened next. If you want to have a quick listen pick this one up and I promise your 6-7 hour drive will fly by, and who knows you might want to go get your own leaf blower afterwards.

I enjoyed it

This is my first read by Sherry Kuehl and it was a good one. I wasn't aware that there was a blog by the same, but, rest assured, I'll be checking it out. There were times where I was annoyed by how annoying the characters were, but, isn't that the point? I love the fact that Wynn Butler is so well loved by her husband that she can be comfortable in who she is. I also love their mantra of not doing anything to embarrass or go to jail...something like that. lol Thank you so much for showing Wynn's ability to say 'I'm sorry, please forgive me' and her friends showing her the grace.
Using her kids to spy on others, well...alrighty then.
I listened to the audiobook version. My first to hear the narrator Connie Shabshab. She was absolutely PERFECT for this book. She brought the right amount of 'snark', the right enough of humor and the right enough of 'she is grounded for life' attitude that I could almost see the emotions in my mind.
I am highly impressed with the book and the narration.

Snarkalicious Fun!!!

Not since Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum series have I had so many laughs and enjoyed a book this much!

There were so many relatable, if not lovable characters and through excellent writing and imagery, I knew them all!

I absolutely loved the narration and the story simply could not have been more well written.

If you are on the fence about getting this one, I guarantee you will love it!

So entertaining!!

This story is laugh out loud funny with aspects every mother can relate to. Connie tells the story as though we’re part of it and friends with the characters. Lots of fun!! Well worth listening to.

Fabulous

This book was so funny. I really enjoyed reading it, and I’m sure I’m going to read it again. I would love it if they were more books with the main character.

entertaining

I loved how Wyn dealt with the mean moms. Rofl. It was a bit shocking to see her friends turn on her in pain and suffering. I didn't see it that way at all. I enjoyed Wyn's spousal support and his commentaries. I applauded hid foresight. Payback is sweet and huge!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Funny.

I think we all can think of someone we have met in our lifetime that resembles the actions of some of the characters in this book. It is a good listen.

The narration was good. Connie Shabshab did a good job with the reading of this book.

I was given this audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A great laugh out loud book!

Sherry Kuehl created a totally relatable story of suburban life and fighting the mean-mom wars while shopping with coupons and Kohl cash! I love her description of some of the characters - Mrs. Darth Vader, a “Barbie” who looks line an upside-down broom. The narration by Connie Shabshab was outstanding! I highly recommend this book, you won’t be disappointed.

LOL Funny!!!

Even if you don't have kids and you have nephews/ nieces, coworkers, or friends with kids, you will be able to enjoy this story.
The number of LOL moments/chapter should be illegal as you will find yourself short of breath with an achy stomach. The author incorporated past and current pop culture like Legally Blond and those butt crack leggings from "that app" (you will know if you know).

If you pick up this book, get ready for friendship, snarkiness, revenge and pettiness - and it all starts the night before school actually starts. I promise you will not be disappointed in this book
