Another great New Species romance!

I’ve always liked the character of Smiley and was glad that he found his mate! The evil head of the Woods Church is at it again and this time he has bought a new drug from Mercile to try to frame a New Species. In his zealous determination, he has a bartender dose Smiley and Vonnie when they meet by accident at a bar where Smiley is hanging out during a conference. They both are affected and the resulting consequences have them both falling for each other. That is until Vonnie is kidnapped by the Woods Church thugs! Narration was well done!

My Favorite Laurann Dohner Audio Book

I have listened to this book about 15 times. It is very upbeat and a wonderful love story. It is not typical and I love all the characters. The storyline is involved and unusual. It is my go to book to listen to if I am having trouble sleeping. It makes me smile and fall asleep easily!

Absolutely loved this one!!

I have been waiting for Smiley’s story and it did not disappoint!! He found the perfect mate for him! I loved these two together and will more than likely listen to it again!!

Where does Smiley rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

For the New Species Series this is not one of my favorites , but it was still very enjoyable. I tend to like the characters who have larger roles in the other books. Plus I was hoping that smiley was a female.

What did you like best about this story?

I think he was won over way to fast. It appears as if he was taken in by the fact that she gave him a glance. She never had to work to secure his feeling. He was in love from the door. This was unreal to me. In all .....I found the book enjoyable. But I spent a lot of time thinking how things could have been different.

Yes, there were parts that made me laugh

I am getting into this series

I thought Darkness was just Ok but the teaser at the end of the story made me want to give this series another try.
I am glad I did. Smiley was a sweetheart. I liked the steamy sex in the story because the couple had a connection. Good story!

not my favorite in series

and that is a pity because I REALLY liked Smiley from previous books, but he seems kinda desperate for any woman and a relationship.

HOTTTTTTTTTTTTT I CANT GET OVER IT

It started HOTTTT and steamy and all the way true. I've loved Smiley from when he was introduced and I'm soooo happy that he find his mate and they're so adorable. I want a new species. I think I'll would have been one of those desperate women hanging out in front of the gate HOPING that one of them fall for me.

Entertaining

My first twilight listed. Very entertaining I think I have some twilight catching up to do...

I wear my own heart on my sleeve and I love the idea of a big powerful male unafraid to show his feelings, feelings that transfer to passion in the bedroom. Besides, I have loved Smiley from the beginning. I am so pleased that he has finally found the love of his life.
