If you’ve been feeling like life’s moving too fast and you’re just trying to keep up, this book is a breath of fresh air. It helped me rethink what really matters and reminded me that a slower, simpler life can be more fulfilling. Personally, it was just what I needed to feel grounded again.

Slow Living has made an immediate impact on my life. My life has been pure chaos for the past 8 months with two major surgeries that I have had to recover from all while balancing my job, household duties, my daughters dance classes, and keeping my partner happy and satisfied. I have felt as if I was in a hamster wheel at times just running in circles. This audiobook came into my life at the right exact time. The subtitle really says it all. This book has taught me how to reduce the stress in my life by teaching me new time management skills that I never knew I desperately needed. It has taught me how to really view all challenges on a simplistic level and not get too worked up over the little things that I cannot control. Most of all, it has taught me how to be fulfilled, happy, and grateful, for all the wonderful things I do have in my life. I personally found chapter 5 to really hit home which focuses on mindfulness and presence. I think I found that being present is the aspect of my life that I have struggled with the most recently. I feel as if my thoughts are always pulled in a thousand different directions and this book makes me feel grounded again.

After years of rushing through my days, this book really helped me pause and reevaluate what matters. The ideas felt doable, not preachy or extreme. I started making small changes—less multitasking, more intention—and I actually feel calmer. It reminded me that it’s okay to move at a slower pace and focus on what brings real joy. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the noise of everyday life, this is a great place to reset.

I really enjoyed this audiobook and found it both calming and helpful. The four principles are explained in a thoughtful way, and they made me think differently about how I spend my time. It encouraged me to make small changes that have helped reduce stress and create more space in my day. I liked the focus on simplicity without feeling pressured to overhaul everything at once.

I recently dove into the audiobook *Slow Living* after coming across the idea of "slow travel" while I was planning my latest vacation. This time, I decided to take it easy and not cram the week full of activities. No rigid schedules or pressure to see everything—just pure relaxation. And let me tell you, it turned out to be the best vacation I’ve ever had! It was so peaceful, fulfilling, and refreshing.

Listening to this audiobook felt like a big sigh of relief. The author breaks down the slow living philosophy into four key principles, but what really struck me was how doable it all seemed. It’s not about ditching your to-do list or ignoring your responsibilities; it’s more about adding intention to our daily lives. Whether it's how we spend our time, organize our spaces, connect with others, or even approach our work, it's all about being more mindful.

One chapter that really resonated with me talked about the importance of gracefully saying “no” and unplugging from all the digital noise that surrounds us. Honestly, the pace of modern life can be a bit overwhelming, and this book offers some practical tips for reclaiming your time and focusing on what really matters.

If you're looking for a reset or just want to explore living with a bit more meaning and less chaos, *Slow Living* is definitely worth a listen. I finished it feeling grounded, inspired, and, honestly, a little more hopeful that embracing a slower, more intentional life is not just possible, but absolutely necessary.
