There are better options
This is more like "guided imagery" than self-hypnosis or affirmations... There are a lot better tools for encouraging weight loss and a makeover on this website - Slim Forever subliminal weight loss, the Self Hypnosis diet are two. I listened to this once and will not again.

Have you ever seen the movie "Office Space"? Remember the hypno therapist? Thats what "Slender & Gorgeous" is all about. If you can keep a straight face through the sesssion, and listen once a day, it might work, or it might not... Positive affirmations are certainly possitive, but I question their effectiveness.
It does have a very relaxing quality.

I have listened to this audio-book every night for the past month, I do skip the first 10 minutes as this seems to be an introduction on how to meditate. But once I focus, I admit, I very rarely get to the very end as I have fallen asleep!
