But cranky Cleo was an oh-holy-nightmare to lots of the townsfolk, such as Evan's reporter friend Ray; Christopher, the inn's former contractor; and confectioner Bonnie, whose Gum Drop Shop was a direct target of Cleo's scathing prose.

To figure out the killer's identity and clear Cookie's name, Holly and her friends brainstorm at The Hearth, the farm's café, while her mother keeps them fueled with Christmas goodies fresh from the oven. But if they can't put the culprit on ice, Holly may never see another Christmas.

One of the best romantic Christmas mysteries

I really love this whole series but this one is the best! Romance and mystery combined with a great story and great narration. A murder to solve, a wedding to plan and attend at the inn and all in the midst of the Christmas holiday in a perfect holiday setting. Holly and family and friends create the perfect setting at their Christmas Tree farm & inn. You could not ask for a better holiday mystery. Can’t say more - too much would be revealed. Just listen as you go about your holiday preparations and enjoy.

Always fun

This third book was as enjoyable as the first two. Cute, clever, and still able to be suspenseful. Great narration.

Perfect ENDING to a perfect series

I am in love with this series and was so excited for this last book to come out right before Christmas!

A well written whodunnit fit to put you in the perfect mood for the season! I binged all three in the weeks leading up to Christmas and can’t wait for more!

Absolutely loved this audiobook! A must to listen to! I couldn’t put this audiobook. down!

Good, not great

The narration was as great as always! The mystery…not so much. There were too many red herrings and I found myself not exactly caring who the murderer was anymore. Holly also got a little annoying this time, with everyone constantly asking her to stop asking questions and her winging about it. It felt like Evan should be completely insulted by her seemingly total lack of confidence in him and his deputies. The last scene is lovely, but I almost wish it wasn’t in this book. It didn’t totally feel earned.

Another fun romp in the snow

Just so much fun hearing Holly sleuth. I hope to hear more!! She sure know how to get herself in trouble.
