Striving to end his reign of terror, a thousand sorcerers from the path of light ambushed him. After a thrilling battle that lasted for over 30 days, the sorcerers from the path of light triumphed. But, at the moment of his death, a blinding gray object exited his body, disappearing into a void.

Ten thousand years later, a young boy from a war-torn country reincarnates into the body of a young sorcerer from the continent of Skyhaven. At that same moment, he heard a strange sound. - Ding - Welcome Earthling! Congratulations on inheriting the Necromancer System. Do you wish to begin your journey? - Ding-

Worst book I've ever listened to by a wide margin.

God, where do I even begin. Let's just list out the bare-bones highlights, shall we? This book...

1) Sex scenes focused on a 13 year old boy. (Yeah, the MC is 13 and there are several gratuitous sex scenes that focus on him and his use of his "rod", and describing his 'massive erections' when his sexy maid bathes him. WTF?!

2) Had no editor whatsoever. There are typos, repeated words, incorrect uses of words, or other grammar mistakes in literally EVERY paragraph.

3) Uses the 'LitRPG' elements willy-nilly as a convenient crutch to do whatever the "plot" (ahahahahahahahahaha!) needs it to do.

4) Is a sad attempt at wish fulfillment power fantasy (and sick in the head at that - don't believe me? Wait until you get to the 15 minute detailed description of the MC's mother being raped to death by the kingdom's entire army on the king's orders. Yes. 15 solid minutes of his mother being raped and 'assaulted by a sea of massive rods from the king's gathered men').

5) Had no idea what the target audience demographic was. (Constantly uses euphemisms like 'his rod' and 'her honeycomb' and 'her dark catacomb' to describe private parts, but has no problems cursing and spending entire chapters describing rape and general gore and sadistic acts committed by a 13 year old boy...who you're supposed to believe is also a 'veteran soldier', consummate actor, world-class sorcerer, on top of being a depraved amoral murderer.)

6) Is so poorly written that it's literally painful to listen to. (The narrator screaming "DING!" happens twice every time anything to do with the LitRPG elements of the book appear.)

7) Is cram-packed full with run-on sentences that re-use the same plain adjectives several times per sentence.

8) Terribly forced garbage exposition that is shoved down your throat because it's assumed your too stupid to trust to figure out even basic cliches and tropes being used.

9) A narrative that wouldn't be given a passing grade in a 5rd grade English class.

10) A narration performance that did nothing to distract or mitigate the utter trash that was this 'novel'.

11) Obviously paid shills and or asked friends to pad the reviews, because in NO world would anyone who has actually listen to this garbage would ever give it a 5-star rating.

This is by far the harshest review I've EVER left on a book, and it still feels like I'm being too kind. Again. glorified marathon sex scenes...of a 13 year old boy. What.The. #$%^.

Terrible

This seems like the dark fantasy of a horny thirteen year old. For all I know that is exactly what it is the writing is subpar with a massive amount of repeating information.

Bad, bad and bad

The concept of the is book is great but in the hands of another writer.
This book is badly written and badly narrated. If you can over look the fact that every time the word "exp" comes up: it is an recording slapped over the original recording and the 13 year old boy sex science, the really bad use of words like:"retard".
Then this is the book for you. If not. I suggest you get something els.

really hard to listen to

this has some really bad repetitive writing and makes me think it's just a direct translation into English with no editing, make the story really janky with no flow, the narrator did his best with what he had but this editing ruined any chance of the story being followed

I'd give 0 stars if possible.

I just can't stand overexplaining, it makes it feel like a poorly written essay with an abundance of filler words added just to reach the required word count. Nor can I stand the overuse of "also". "Also the old man's hair was white. the old man's white hair billowed in the summer wind and also his white hair was long and portrayed his oldness. Also his hair was white." the book isn't as bad as this, but you get my point. I'm pretty sure the word also was used about 7 times in as many minutes.

Needs an editor

The grammar is so bad the author seems to have English as a second language. The text often switches tense mid sentence.

The proformance is good, but plagued by constant mispronunciation.

Disappointing

Reads like the first draft of a teen-age power fantasy and wet dream turned screenplay.

absolutely terrible

the writing in this is the worst litrpg I have read to date. I was excited about a nice dark and graphic novel - but it's juvenile. using words like boner and hard on - is the author 12?
not just that, it's just bad. repeating words, bad sentence structure. bad plot. bad characters. it's just awful. I can't believe I just used a credit on this utter garbage.

It was a soft try at a lit RPG (big maybe)

The RPG aspects were lacking Mechanic is almost a relevant for the MC's progression

The evil MC could have been much better. It was almost to the point I was going to put the book down in the middle of the story.

Also then there was the whole mother rape event that took much time to tell, just a rinse and repeat.

if there is a second book I hope there is more focus on a different character going forward, because the current MC is damn near unlikable

not an hour in yet will update this if it changes

just feel the need to say this book really needed an editor I'm not even an hour in and there are so many mistakes and poor word choices. perhaps a non English native speaker, if that is the case could have done with someone to go through it with him maybe. it has quite a few pretty good reviews so I'm going to try to stick with it and finish if possible. Just disappointed by how many little errors there have been in the first hour.
Only issue with the narrator so far is he is putting too much emphasis on the t in words that end in a ten sound like written. I know weird sounding issue it's just noticeable enough to pull me further out of the already seemingly badly written book. Other than that though he seems to be doing better than he should with what he has to work with only mentioning it in case he sees this just something to maybe work on. It's not a major issue and you are doing well.
OK only made it 6 hours in cant take any more sorry

could be better

narrator is seeming to read to a child in a slow and almost condescending manner, story would probably have been better if read in a different manner or by another narrator.

Just awful.

I am not even sure what the book is trying to be to, the narrator is either really bad or just taking the mickey out of the material, but I am guessing it's just bad.

would not recommend. (rant imminent.)

frankly, I'm not sure what to say, this book was a major disappointment for me. I started this book hoping for a story that was exciting, different and fun. while I can say with confidence that the story was different, if you can call it one, it was not one I would have gone to if I had a heads up. between the absolutely terrible grammer, laughable character development and the cringeworthy lit rpg elements, by the time I was half way through, my hopes for a good book where dashed, and all I was doing was enduring so I could finish this book and give an honest full review.

ok firstly, it really started to get to me when the author started calling everyone who wasn't a main character by genral discriptions like 'the muscular man, the beautiful lady, the middle aged man etc.' at first I thought this was until he reveled some names or some distinguishing feature, but no. it got to the point I was wondering if he was talking about the same person a few times, really made it hard for me to get into the book when every second person mentioned was like this.

secondly, the main character had no oposition at all. at no point in the book was there any real suspense or sense that it was anything other than a walk in the park. the main character was literly everything and more. he was an actor that was so good he didn't have any trouble adapting to situations he should have never seen coming, a child soldier who was better then anyone in the book with tactics, despite his limited experience. also he had extensive practice with video games and was royalty. seriously this guy was packed with so much it was completely unrealistic. it wasn't possible to feel any sort of relation with him, not even when they give you his backstory (which involves a 15min section describing his mother being gang raped by soldiers, wtf.) he is literally a psychopath in every respect, along with way to much luck. after the half way point I wasn't interested in who won in the end, none of the characters really stuck out to me or had anything about them I thought was worthwhile, they where all pretty much one demensional characters with no depth, which didn't give me any hope for finding someone to invest in.

thirdly, the main character (who is 13) is the star of way to many sex scenes throughout the book. it was pretty disturbing, during these scenes the author has a strange habit of saying 'his rod, her honeycomb' and so on instead of just coming out and using there names when he has no issue with giving all the grusome details of his character mutilating, raping, torturing or disemboweling others. whats the point of dancing around the sex scenes when the rest of your book is literally full of bloodshed and gore?

fourthly, the system... jesus christ, the amont of times I heard the narrator say 'ding' in the exact same grating and irritating way, I swear it almost gave me a stroke. along with the way the system was decribed as giving out experience as a lottery with no real explination or reason was stupid, literly an excuse to make his character OP.

these are the four main points that really pissed me off about this book. I could keep going but I don't want to go off on a massive rant. for the autor I would recommend getting an editor, the book would have been so much better with some editing, someone to proof read you stories and tell you honesty what is wrong or right with them and maybe some help in making a character that people might actually feel some investment in. I'm done now, hope this helps. I'm going to return this book now.

Bloated MC fulled with traits.

The author filled the backstory of the MC with so much sh*t and plot armor that its nauseating. He is an award winning actor, a prince of another world, a victim in a royal plot, a 13 year old, a soldier, a 'reaper' , a rebel who delt a blow against the royals that literally tipped the scales of the war, not a virgin before puberty, a light novel reader, has the necro system that isnt even a system as its dosent even justify its numbers with logic and gives it in a 'lottery'. Not to mention the intelligence increase is just straight up author intervention.

The MC dosent earn anything by himself its all handed to him on a plater, his motivations are nonsensical. The inheritance feast which the novel spent the entire novel leading up to ultimately came down to 'im strong so I can do what I want...' and that came to a cheating fetish which he discards as soon as he is bored..... his character is so trash that it constantly needs things happening to and around him to make things interesting and to justify his power level.

Came for evil ... got evil

Pretty straight forward evil character has bad background. Breaks morals. Betrayed and no longer cares about anyone but himself, dies then comes back in an rpg’esk world... not groundbreaking. Seen some reviews talking about the fact the mc is 13 and getting laid a lot ... yes and considering he is in basically the Middle Ages not unheard of ... production needs editing a vocal “ding” gets old fast but it fades into the background... eventually...
