Story
I've been taking down drug dealers for so long, playing bodyguard to a woman named Shoshanna Lehump sounds like nothing more than a giant pain in my ass - and being partnered with the gorgeous egotistical jerk I never should have slept with in the first place just makes a bad situation even harder - especially when he pursues me as diligently as we're supposed to be chasing the bad guys.... What's a girl have to do to get a happy ending anyway?

Story
What happens when an accountant decides to grab life by the horns and try something new? Apparently a pirate named Dave, a lot of pastel fleece, and blackmail - just to start with. Visualize and succeed, Oprah said. I was sure as hell trying, even if my campaign to score a job as the local weather girl had ended in a restraining order. Okay, TV was not my strength. But a lack of talent has never stopped me before. Which is why I've embarked on a writing career. I mean, how hard can it be to come up with a sexy romance?

Story
A dare is a dare. No self-respecting, slightly chubby, good-lookin’, crime lovin’ cat would ever pass up a dare. So I didn’t. Now, me and my boys are in hot water trying to figure out how to live on the right side of the law for a whole freakin’ week! This is complicated by a couple of hairy issues. Throw in a cryptic message from the Goddess, humans invading our town and evil, sticky-fingered groundhogs, and we have a hot mess on our paws.

The love of my dastardly immortal life is eating everything that isn't nailed down and tried to behead me over a chocolate croissant. While I take chocolate croissants very seriously, I do believe decapitation is somewhat harsh. My daughters, the Seven Deadly Sins, are driving me to drink. Getting them mated off and the hell out of Hell is at the top on my agenda. The one thing that is keeping me sane - sane being a relative word - is my upcoming special day.

I’ve been happily human for 30 years. Now I’m discovering I’m the reincarnated Fairy Queen of a land chock-full of freaks who want me dead. However, I’ll admit the perks are pretty cool. I have more magic in my little pinky than should be allowed by law in any universe. Not to mention, the love of my life is a Fairy so smokin’ hot, he makes Hell look like a Winter Wonderland. Problem is, my hotter-than-Hades Fairy is imprisoned in Zanthia for nefarious reasons I won’t go into, but now I must head back to that crap hole where I’m the Queen, and save the damn day.

I’ve been hoping to join the Fearsome Five and make it the Psycho Six. However, the chances of that happening now are looking slim. Of course, I could force my way in since I’m Mother freakin’ Nature, but I want to be accepted for being me - and because I’m fabulous. Shadowvale isn’t your typical small-town America. The sun never shines, the gates decide who enters, magic abounds, and every resident bears some kind of curse. Exiled king of the goblins Robin Gallow has no choice but to live in Shadowvale. That was the deal he made with his ex-wife and current queen of the goblins in exchange for the antidote to the poison she gave him. Now, the town has become his prison, and his world is closing in on him. It’s enough to drive a man insane.

My name is Venus. I'm a 200-year old killing machine and I'm trading in my daggers and sword for a sparkly dress and an obscene swimsuit. Tiny strips of Lycra are not my typical battle wear, but when in Oklahoma... Armed with a fairly decent attitude, two debatably heterosexual insane old ladies, a woman I'd wanted to kill less than eight hours ago, and the possible love of my undead life, I'm in over my head with this. Of course I have no clue what this is going to entail, but that's never stopped me before.

Publisher's Summary
A few hard truths: Don't bet on Hasselhoff, Bigfoot might actually exist, and searching for the impossible may lead you to your heart's desire....
It's a big fat hairy deal when I lose yet another bet to my best friend, Rena. Not only do I end up attending Bigfoot meetings with her kooky Aunt Phyllis, I find myself traveling with a band of reality TV, Sasquatch-hunting nut-jobs! Not to mention a suspiciously shady film crew. As if those little nuggets weren't enough to send me on the express train to Crazytown...I stupidly swore off men!
Clearly, all this would mess up any gal's social life, but the worst part of the story? The minute I send my libido on vacation, I meet Mitch. Yep, Mitch, the sexiest cop ev-ah. The hottest, best-kissing, finest tushied single guy I've ever laid eyes on. I'd rather be hot on his trail than anything that involves the word big or foot. But sometimes what you're hunting for has been right in front of you all along....

Total fun and laughs!
***excessive swearing, lesbian relationship and body shaming***
I was doubtful that I could enjoy this novel as much as the first. In the first novel, the protagonist was Rena. Here we are on a hilarious ride with Kristy. Kristy and Rena are roommates. The ladies are interchangeable. They are attractive, perky, quirky and are specialist in having men issues.
Kristy lost a bet with Rena. David Hasselhoff is not a popular rock star in France. Now Rena gets to keep the cardboard Brett Favre and Kristy must take Rena’s Aunt Phyllis to her Bigfoot meetings for 30 days.
The characters in the Bigfoot meeting are the most colorful and totally crazy. Edith and Ms. C are evil lesbian twins. They are pushy rude and like to be called lesbo or queers. Aunt Moon-Unit, formerly Aunt Phyllis, is the kookiest person in the group. She changed her name when it came to her in a vision from aliens. Mariah Carey is a 97-pound ball of fury with angry issue. Her go to form of communication is to punch e in the nose or testicles. Boo Carey is Mariah’s sister. She is timid and believes Bigfoot is just looking for love. Rich is an enormous man with an unidentifiable accent, one blue and one green eye and has man boobs. Even though Kristy first impression of Rich was unappealing, they become friends. Kim and Hugh are the leaders. This unlikely group goes for a two-week vacation to record a movie of them finding Bigfoot. Kristy is stuck in the clutches of the group to receive a substantial donation for her shelter.
There is deception and weirdness, which makes it hysterical. The group is in the wilderness looking for Bigfoot pubic hairs on trees and Kristy is cringing and/or gagging. The story includes canine erectile dysfunction caused by Aunt Moon-Unit’s battle to rid her house of the bad chi. The chi are horney little bastards which multiply like bastards.
Of course, Kristy who is loved starved and has a record of bad relationships finds someone. Yet, it is the lie of omission makes her walk away—for now. I laughed so hard I cried. The suspense was such that I couldn't put the book down.
There is lots of talk about Bigfoot’s genital. You must read this for that reason alone.

If you enjoy plenty of rough language
I can’t say that I enjoy the rough language, or frequent f-bombs, but the story is fun and I enjoy how it ties in with book #1. I’ll be pausing now from the series because I truly get my fill of cussing and it grates on my nerves. This book is a lot calmer than book 1.
