If you are over 30, pass this by.

I had no idea this author usually wrote young adult fiction, and once I learned that, it all made so much more sense. If you have any life experience whatsoever, move on. This is clearly meant for young women who want a "relatable" but incredibly insecure character who doesn't know or trust herself. I found it pretty eye-roll worthy most of the time. The very idea that someone is a size 12 because they are too lazy to stand up in a shower? This has to be written by a skinny person.

...as far as I did. Though I didn't make it past chapter 2. It's crap.

SEE A MAN ABOUT A HORSE

That euphemism is used wrong in the book. It’s a book about a 28yr old former tween pop star. The story is interesting but the book is only going to appeal to teens. This 28yr old woman acts like a teen herself.

Hey Britney! It's Heather!

I had this novel for years, but I didn't feel like reading it till recently, the premises wasn't attractive to me, and by the end, I found myself bored and not invested enough to know what was happening. I thought it was a light comedy but it's more of a detective comedy about Heather who was a pop star like Britney and Jessica. She lost her record deal, lost her boyfriend, and was flat broke so she starts working in a university dorm as an assistant dorm director, she lives with her ex's brother who she was secretly in love with. Cooper doesn't seem to look at her that way. Heather decided to invest in herself and return to school because she wants to impress Cooper. Girls start dying (being killed) but the police think they are elevator surfing (I had to google that) but not Heather, she starts investigating the crimes and the murder wants her dead. And, size 12 isn't fat.

Bad language bad content

I read this for a book club and was seriously disappointed in the language and too many references to sex. The narrator did a fine job.

Where does Size 12 Is Not Fat rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I was delighted with this book. Heather is a likable character and the mystery is woven in a clever way. This is written for young adults, but I am well beyond that and the writing and dialog was delightful for those who are only young at heart.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Size 12 Is Not Fat?

Without giving anything away, there was a thrilling elevator rescue.

I absolutely love this book! It’s chic lit but with a murderous twist. The narrator is great and I am so happy I took a chance on it.

Love This Series! Ready for Another Installment

I've read and listened to this series lots of times. And feel another story with Heather & Cooper is about due.
Please Meg Cabot and Sandy Rustin as narrator.
I will buy the hard backed version and Audible as well!

This book is Fun and full of mystery

This is such an enjoyable read with great characters and narration and perfect sarcasm

Not my kind if book

I loved how relatable Heather was. but I am not a huge fan of mysteries. Was recommended to me.
