Sisters of Victory: Female Agents Take to the Air… by D. R. Bailey is an excellent historical military fiction. Maria Nicola Johnson did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, exciting, interesting, thrilling, engaging, enjoyable, and more. Sister of Victory is the first book in Secret Sirens Aviation thriller series. Recommend

Women Pilots and the War That Needed Them

I love aviation stories, and I’m equally drawn to historical settings—this book delivers on both fronts and doesn’t disappoint. Ably narrated, the story is filled with camaraderie and ambition, making it easy to root for the Sirens at every step of their journey. It also highlights just how much the war effort could have benefited if women pilots had been utilized to their full potential, which adds a thoughtful layer to the narrative. I’m very much looking forward to book two.
