Extremely dark and gut wrenching!

I’ve listened to all 4 books but in my opinion, book 2 pulled EVERY chord of my being! I was angry, I cried and was totally pissed how the treatment of these kids got worse! If any parts of this series is based on ANYONE’S truth my heart is with them! I’m not sure if the author should receive kudos or a side-eye cuz who could THINK of such tragedy??!

Very deep/sick

This story is a bit much. I’m wondering if it’s based on a true story cause if not, the author has some very deep stuff going on with in to write something like this the details of how these Kids was treated is sick. On another note. The writer dragged the story. Some parts could’ve just been wrapped up real fast.
