This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Julius Garmond ran away to save his pup. Not all Wolf Packs protect the innocent and he’ll do anything to keep her safe…except allow an interfering Alpha to help him.

Garen Kinion is an Alpha who will always fight to protect others. Cantatrix was quickly becoming a refuge for shifters on the run and he welcomes everyone. The newest arrival may not want his help, but Garen can’t walk away from the grumpy single father.

These two Wolves rub each other the wrong way but necessity (and fate) keeps throwing them together.

Can a case of mistaken identity help love grow before the darkness of Julius’ past endangers any future they could share?

The AI voice was not bad enough to cause me to stop listening but I also couldn’t get lost in the story because it was very difficult in some parts of the AI reading to identify when the caracteres changed. I had a very hard time identifying what characters were speaking.

It’s tolerable

I would normally love a story like this but the narration was painfully bland and hearing things like "50 slash 50" is jarring and pulls you out of the world

AI should not replace actors
