Exciting Sexy Romance!

This third book in the Sinful Nights series continues to keep us engaged, excited and craving more of the Sloan family and the intriguing mystery that surrounds them. This story features sexy, tattooed bad boy, Colin Sloan and Elle Mariano, owner of the at-risk Youth Center, and kick ass roller derby skater. Colin and Elle met when Colin volunteered to help at the Youth Center. Colin has turned his life around from street thug and addict in his youth to a kind, thoughtful, and generous entrepreneur. He is a math wiz who is a genius at assessing risks. Elle is a compassionate, loyal single mom who doesn't like to take risk except when she is skating or in bed with Colin. They have a passionate 'friends with benefits' relationship that Colin wants to take further but because Elle is so protective of her son she holds herself back. Colin is determined to show her that he is a risk worth taking for her and for her son. They are so perfect together because they both assess risk, but from different angles. They are smart, like to have fun, and their dirty talking and fiery passion make them combustible between the sheets. I loved how their relationship grew at an honest pace from casual to emotional. I also love how Ms. Blakely writes adult characters who do not thrive on angst but work through their differences and short comings. The series long mystery arc continues to grow adding suspense and intrigue. It answers some questions but creates more with it's twists and turns. The ending was a real shock that I never saw coming! Ms. Blakely continues to find brilliant ways to keep this series sexy and intriguing. I can't wait to see what she has in store for Michael and how she will continue this exciting mystery!

Josh Goodman does a fantastic job with his narration, giving all the characters a distinct, engaging, and believable voice. I really enjoy his performance with this series.

Not really longing

Elle is a single mom struggling to support her son with mental health issues. She's lonely and Collin is the one thing she can't seem to stop a craving she doesn't think she can have.

The narrator Josh Goodman was expressive, but I'm not sure if I couldn't get into his voice or the story - I normally LOVE Lauren Blakely books but struggled this time.

Middle of the Road

This book was just kind of mediocre for me. Some of it is personal preference, I don't generally care for stories where the characters are already sexually involved before the book starts. I want to see the very beginning of the relationship and how it turns romantic. Also, there was almost no plot development in regards to the side story of the murder of the brothers father. The main characters were cute together and I liked that Colin was sure of his feelings but Elle's neurosis kind of bugged me after a while. It wasn't a bad book I just wasn't overly excited about it.

Great Shocker but I have 1 Bone to Pick

I'm not a huge fan of Josh's narration but it's tolerable. The reveal at the end was awesome... I had my suspicions but the writing, build up and reveal was awesome.

I just didn't care for a 14yr old cursing and his mother didn't address it. Simple thing but it irritated me...

Excellent Series

A love story, a new brother, a confession, extreme sports, and a kick ass lead into the next book in the series! Lauren Blakely has a real flair for writing, don't miss out on this series.

Sad & Disappointed

Narrator voice is pleasant but hard to follow as no inflection or even a hint of change up for other characters. It's sad as I like the characters intertwined from the other books

Best book in the series!

This is one of my favorite Lauren Blakely books! The series has been a lot of fun, I like the overall plot of the Sloan's mom having their dad killed and all the secrets they've uncovered. It's intriguing and fun. This book in particular had a great story between Colin and Elle, they had amazing chemistry and the smut was so well written, whew! Colin is a recovering addict who loves extreme sports and his tattoos make him even sexier. Elle does roller derby which is awesome and badass and they fit together so well. The narrator was great, I could listen to his voice all day, sigh.
I can't wait to listen to the last book and see how the story wraps up!

Meh for Sinful Longing

It is rare that I don’t love a Lauren Blakely book, but this one seemed to drag on too long for me.

Sinful Longing

This final book in the series had twists and turns galore, very exiciting and I still was not sure the 'bad guy' was going to be revealed. Nice ending, with many threads left dangling.

Wow

This was a great love story. Loved the family devotion and love for each other. It was awesome that they worked out in the end with helps from a great son. Omg just want to get to the last story and connect all the dots.
Narration was awesome too.
