Love this book with a very deap passion.

I love this book so much. I love the letters it had in it. It was so well put together, and I truly enjoyed it. I am not the biggest on reading, but 8 just could not stop reading and listening.

I'm picky so....

If you hold to the end you will have plenty of adventure. Parts of the story happened clearly because the author wanted it to and not out of logic or reason with the characters. Interesting world and concepts. I was equal parts frustrated and amused. One of the better supernatural books out there.

Not for me.

The story was good but not enough for me to continue on with the series.

In case you haven't read Bram Stoker

This is kind of a back door, giggy girl introduction to definitely not loveable Dracula clan. Once having read it, go directly to Stoker 1897, then Bela Lugosi 1931. Then you will be ready to handle all those gushy romantic vampires out there. I do find the multiple threats of rape here a bit more disconcerting than anything Stoker and Lugosi offer.
