awesome series

This series just keeps getting better with the MC really starting to understand his powers. With having grown up outside of this realm, politics, and without magic gives him an interesting way of doing things especially with the nobles. I'm excited to see where this story goes with the new characters, monsters, and the wild magic

Awesome Sequel

When it comes to a sequel, I am personally looking for everything that made the last book worth it and then some. In my opinion that is this book. When I get to the ending of a book, I usually have a few questions and so I decided to go ahead and share what I found here in this review. The first one is whether or not the sequel is already out as some authors will kind of stagger their releases in between an eBook and an audio book. The next installment to this story is already out in eBook form. It had a release date back in 2021 though. I went ahead and took a quick peek at the reviews for that book. As a rule, I try to avoid doing that because sometimes it will spoil the story for me. It does appear as though the story ends in book 4 and the criticism that I see is centered around the fact that while the story was good the ending was a bit abrupt. For me personally the major question is always whether or not I was entertained and at least for this entry into the story the answer was yes. The 4th book is set to receive the audio treatment with a release date of August 15th and the date of this review is the 8th so not too long to wait. That being said if you got kindle unlimited you might want to check out the ending before picking up the audio book. I'm going to wait for the audio book though. Since it appears that there's only four books in the series and we're on book three I don't want to really share anything about what goes on in this story. If you've been following along then you should know more or less what to expect. Moving on to the narration team, I think they delivered a good performance. I know I've come across their work in the past but the book that I can think of off the top of my head is “Goblin Apocalypse.” Lastly, I'll just say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners.

Another great book by D. Levesque. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life.
