The adaption of the story

Overall, I like the story. The part I didn't like was the change in character and events related to Donald Keene. Since this is in the Silo universe, it would have been nice to keep his character the same; but if you separate it from the original Silo stories, it's pretty good.

Good story- read print version

Virtual voice narration hard to take. I’ve heard worse narrations, but this is definitely down there on the bottom. Takes away from the story. Will not recommend the audio version of this one for that reason.
Refreshing take in the series. What is possible when potential isn’t crushed.

Virtual voice is terrible as usual

The book itself was ok, but the entire thing is ruined for me by virtual voice.

Not up to professional standards.

The conversations between characters are more liked back and forth orations. Very stilted and not at all lifelike. The artificial reader also is poor.

Eww AI Narration

When I saw their was another silo book and it was about silo 42 I quickly downloaded it. I didn’t notice it was AI narration.

The AI sounds exactly like what you would expect. An emotionless AI. I do not want to listen to a robot.



Once I realized this I stopped listening and I will not continue.

What I did listen to, the story was bad also. Seems like that was written by an AI. Very short sentences that did not flow well together.

I do not recommend.
