CBA best-selling author and award-winning novelist, Tracie Peterson pens the tale of Andy Gilbert, a telegram delivery boy. During World War II, many of the young men of Haven, Pennsylvania are fighting in Europe. But still in town, Andy must find the strength to bring the news of the dead to their families. I enjoyed this book very much. This has history in it that would have happened during WWII. At first I did not like it. But I continued on and I am so glad that I did. Great ending showing God’s love!!

I love this one so much!!! I listen to it every Christmas. It always makes me cry and laugh in the right places, and is a great glimpse at what Christmas was like for a lonely boy during the war.

A yearly tradition!
