Excellent Short

I unfortunately didn't feel a connection with the Narrator. The storyline kept this one going for me.

The author has a way of getting your heart pounding with the first scene. By the end, you feel like you've ran a marathon. Your heart rate increases and then stays there. This short is no different. You're given just enough information to make the wrong decision. Again and again and again. But when the line you've been waiting for is revealed, you know you should've know that from the beginning. Another excellent read from Tina S. Transformation.

Elara returns home to investigate the truth behind mysterious disappearances. Each step closer puts her more at risk. Will she discover the truth?

A very gripping fast-paced story. You won't want to put it down.

Twists

I had the chance of listening to the audiobook of this story. I absolutely loved the twists and turns that Tina had in this book. I enjoyed seeing what happened in Ashwood and the concept of the missing people. I will say I wasn’t a fan of the narrators; however, I won’t let that impact my review because the storyline itself was good and made me want to continue on to know what happened next.

Tense atmosphere with unexpected twists

In a town where people are disappearing and no one talks about it, Elara returns home to uncover the truth. As she digs deeper, the danger grows, and I couldn’t put the book down, wondering what would happen next. The atmosphere is tense, with unexpected twists and a strong, determined protagonist. It’s a fast-paced, haunting story that explores fear, silence, and the high cost of seeking the truth.

The audio version takes the experience to another level. The narrator brings even more emotion, tension, and life to the story.
