Publisher's Summary

When she moved to her family's ancestral ranch, single mom Sierra McKettrick was disconcerted by the Triple M's handsome caretaker, Travis Reid. But when her son claimed to see a mysterious boy in the house, and an heirloom teapot started popping up in unexpected places, Sierra wondered if the attraction between herself and Travis might be the least of her worries.

In 1919, widowed Hannah McKettrick lived at the ranch with her son and her brother-in-law, Doss. Her confused feelings for Doss and her son's health problems occupied all her thoughts...until the family teapot started disappearing.

Could Sierra and her ancestor, Hannah, be living parallel lives?

Graphic

I stopped listening when the love story became graphic sex. I also found it disruptive (maybe more by listening than if I were reading it myself) that there were two stories, one from 1919 and one from present day. The narrative switched back and forth constantly.

Great

This is a great book, its romantic but exciting as well. It's not just a "they fall in love and into bed instantly" type book. Really great story line, complicated, emotional etc. Awesome.

Fills in the gaps

Not as good as the first four or last three books, the first 4 are my favorites.... but it fills in the gaps between the two series from the first ranchers, their grand kids and modern day. There are two stories one in 1919 and 2007 intertwined by common circumstance and a mysterious spiritual connection. I liked the 2007 story best myself. If you like the McKettricks then you will be happy to have read this book. One problem with this audible book I’m sad to say is the reader. This is read by a woman’s voice that sounded like one of Charlie’s Angels, a bit breathy, not western sounding, not good for the men’s voices but good for Liam’s voice.

Another McKettrick story. I want to get to know all of them. This is no exception. I like the narrator too!

Then and Now, Together

A friend recommended this book as well as the other McKettrick novels. She said she very much enjoyed McKettrick's Way, so I ordered it and told her so. She then said I should read "Sierra's Homecoming" first, so I ordered it, as well. I quickly got into this story and found the characters entertaining, curious, and not lacking in wit and humor. I could see this book being made into a movie, or Hallmark featured movie. The narrator helped to pull the story into a delightful mind's eye view.

Interesting story line... Refreshing thinking

Great character development and two wonderful heartfelt love stories remind us of the dynamics of life and the journey of living one generation after another and the connections that are always there. I got so concerned at one point that this was a ghost story and did not want the characters to die that I put it aside until I could up my fortitude.

Great characters

I loved this book. It was quite time travel but like they are living in separate worlds but together!

AWESOME GHOST STORY!

It was great way that Linda Miller wrote this non-scary ghost story! Two romances in one. I had to listen to the book in one day.
