Very encouraging

From someone who’s been through a much spiritual abuse and church-hurt, I find myself listening here a lot for strength just to keep going.

So helpful!

This book has given me practical tools to walk alongside brothers and sisters in their suffering and also to humbly welcome them into my own sin and suffering. I’m stirred on to embrace the reality of being both needy and needed. Highly recommend to any and all believers!

Points on Praying

I thoroughly enjoyed this book that spoke to ordinary me! The section on praying was both informative and the best I have read so far. This book brought home truths in a direct and educative manner, that did not offend .

I learned a lot.

This book was very insightful. I learned alot about how to communicate with others in a Godly way. I saw a lot of what I have done wrong. I found some simple ways to connect with others in a more meaningful way.

Rich, Biblical Teaching

Ed Welch has a way of teaching you like you’re in the same room with him. Loved this book, and can’t wait to own it physically so that I can make all the notes.

Immensely Practical Help for Helping

The best parts were the practical, example questions and dialogues given to help the reader put into practice the things being discussed, & the scripture references. Upon reflection, this book isn't so revolutionary as it is refreshing, but it seems remarkably new while reading it because of the simplicity and clarity with which it addresses complex, difficult situations.
