Publisher's summary

Gerald Wright works for billionaires. He never imagined he'd become one.

The former Navy Seal is a chauffeur by day, artist by night, so when hotter-than-ever ex-fiancée Suzanne Dayton interrupts his nude model sculpting class to serve him with inheritance paperwork from a man he's never heard of, he assumes it's a joke.

Turns out the joke's on him. There's just one catch. A big one.

And it might be Suzanne - in more ways than he ever dreamed.

Shopping for an Heir is the 10th book in the New York Times best-selling Shopping for a Billionaire series by Julia Kent. It features many favorite characters from the Shopping series, including Declan McCormick himself as Gerald's class model ;)

Great Read

Shopping for an Heir (Shopping for a Billionaire, Book 10) was another great read by Julia Kent. Gerald is a chauffeur who is a former Navy Seal. He is also an artist who’s ex fiancé interrupts his sculpting class. She is delivering him inheritance paperwork that he assumes is a joke. I really enjoyed this great read about an heir who never though he could become a billionaire. I can’t wait to read more in this series.

I laughed!

I liked the story line but my favorite characters were the senior citizens. Marine and Agness! They were the whole reason I continued to read. Lol

This is a seductive requitted past love story

This is a tale about former military soldiers who fell in love.
When they were back in the states, between PTDS and insecurities, Gerald went his separate way, so Suzanne would get a life she deserved.
A decade later, a new partner in a prestigious law firm, Suzanne dreaded the assignment to deliver a legal document to the artist -Gerald.
Will the two ever connect again? if so, what would it take to overcome their past ?

This is a fairly well-written tale. It is not very original but plausible.

There is a lot of "steamy" interactions and occasion profanity.

The Narrator, Sebastian York did a good job in creating the different "voices" and emphasis. However, he greatly lacked energy and his voice is very mellow. It relaxed me into solace and sleep.

Couldn't get into the story.

There are some really funny parts of the story, that I did enjoy. But as one fluid book, it was too disconnected and I just couldn't get into it at all. The narration was done really well, can't go wrong with Sebastian York - ever. That was the best part of it for me, and what kept me listening.

My First Romantic Comedy Narrated by Sebastian

When I found out that Sebastian York was going to be narrating this book, I was over the moon! Sebastian totally nails every pun and joke in this book perfectly and I just couldn't get enough.

Really, what's not to love about this series? This book is a little different because it isn't about one of the main characters, but it perfectly rounds out the entire series. It gives you insight and a different perspective of the main characters that you wouldn't get otherwise.

First, let me start off by saying that I LOVE AGNES!!! This book is full of amazing Agnes moments that will absolutely have you laughing out loud...literally. Then you get to see a completely different side of Declan now that he is CEO of his new Coffee chain.

Ok so onto Gerald & Suzanne's story. Gerald gets this weird inheritance that causes him to face & deal with a huge decision he made 10 years ago. Gerald & Suzanne go through this journey of revelations, forgiveness & a fair share of suspense.

Julia has done it again...captured my heart & has me salivating for more of this series.

LOL

loved this book. narration great. I first half of the book i laughed all the way through, just excellent. second half was still a good story but the cute/funny gave way to serious, also rather sad because they wasted so much time. got this through AE but will be buying it soon, too cute to pass up
