Sergeant Freya—an eight-foot wolf mutant bred for war—leads her misfit squad through the radioactive wasteland between two superpowers that refuse to admit they're still fighting - and when a routine patrol goes sideways in the ruins of Budapest, Freya finds herself trapped between hostile forces, mysterious military hardware, and questions that could start the war everyone pretends already ended. With her squad pinned down by a radiation storm and enemies closing in from all sides, she'll have to decide what's more dangerous: the contaminated wasteland outside, or the secrets of the conflict looming in the background.
