Small Town Girl Meets Movie Star

A foundling baby, a speeding car and a handsome movie star will change Molly's life forever in this sweet Brunswick Bay Harbour romance that makes some important statements about life in an accessible world. Great characters including a Hollywood diva you'll love to hate, a strong yet vulnerable hero and all the small town Maine charm we've come to expect from this series. Omasta herself narrates this Audible version which ensures that the "voice" of the story is exactly what she intended.
Ann Omasta comes through again in another great story from Brunswick Bay.

Molly and Grant find their HEA.

This is a beautiful opposites attract, small town romance. It is the first of this series for me, but Book 5 in the series, I think. A stand alone read with characters from other books. There is a cliffhanger for the next book with other characters.
I listened to Audible version where the author performs this book herself. Ann Omasta does an excellent job. I always enjoy her stories.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Charming

Shocking Sapphires, a charming small town romance, is part of a wonderful series, yet can be read as a stand alone. The characters are interesting and well developed. I appreciate that the author writes with fabulous detail and her style flows nicely, making her books easy to read. The author narrates her own books and gives a nice performance.

Love when you think you've lost it all

I've read and enjoyed the other books in this series, and loved listening to Shocking Sapphires as much as I did reading it. In this installment you have Molly who is a bit lost. Suddenly she finds herself taking care of the young son of her childhood heartthrob. Grant is in a bad car accident when he narrowly avoids hitting Molly and his son. When he has all but given up, Molly is the emotional support he didn't know he needed or wanted. When his "girlfriend" shows up things take a sudden turn, leaving both Molly and Grant confused and broken-hearted. I enjoyed how we got to see some of the characters from the other books in the series, and how they brought to light some of the challenges faced every day by wheel-chair bound people. As with the other books in the series, this ends with a cliffhanger. Looking forward to seeing what happens next in Brunswick Bay Harbor.

Great Read

Shocking Sapphires (Brunswick Bay Harbor Gems #5) was a great read by Ann Omasta. Molly feels as though she is the last single person in Brunswick Bay Harbor. A baby is left at the safe haven drop-off at the fire station. Molly convinces her brother to let her take care of the baby. Grant is speeding on the slick Maine road when he sees a woman and a baby in the road. He is a famous actor who is in Maine for a new movie. I really enjoyed Grant and Molly’s story and can’t wait to read more by Ann Omasta.
