Named a Best Romance of 2021 by Entertainment Weekly, Goodreads, PopSugar, Marie Claire, Real Simple, Insider, Vulture, CNN, Bookreporter, BookBub, and more!

The Unhoneymooners meets The Hating Game in this witty, clever, and swoonworthy novel following a workaholic marketing manager who is forced to go on a cruise with her arch-nemesis when they’re up for the same promotion.

Between taking night classes for her MBA and her demanding day job at a cruise line, marketing manager Henley Evans barely has time for herself, let alone family, friends, or dating. But when she’s short-listed for the promotion of her dreams, all her sacrifices finally seem worth it.

The only problem? Graeme Crawford-Collins, the remote social media manager and the bane of her existence, is also up for the position. Although they’ve never met in person, their epic email battles are the stuff of office legend.

Their boss tasks each of them with drafting a proposal on how to boost bookings in the Galápagos - best proposal wins the promotion. There’s just one catch: They have to go on a company cruise to the Galápagos Islands...together. But when the two meet on the ship, Henley is shocked to discover that the real Graeme is nothing like she imagined. As they explore the Islands together, she soon finds the line between loathing and liking thinner than a postcard.

With her career dreams in her sights and a growing attraction to the competition, Henley begins questioning her life choices. Because what’s the point of working all the time if you never actually live?

Perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Sally Thorne, Shipped is a fresh and engaging rom-com that celebrates the power of second chances and the magic of new beginnings.

Absolutely Perfect!

I couldn't stop listening to this one, once I started. This is probably the fastest book I've ever listened to, less than 1 week. It was fun, light, sexy, humorous, intriguing and all around great! The conservation aspect of the book was a huge success for me. It had just the right amount of sexy scenes without going into the "R" rated scenes, which I don't care for. So this was a win win for me in all categories! I can't wait to read more by Angie Hockman.

Keep Listening

The self absorbed main character vs perceived enemy trope feels overdone to me but this book did a really great job pulling through in character development and did not stay in that mode for too long. I enjoyed the chemistry between our main couple. So while the book is rather predictable in the beginning, keep listening and you'll be glad you did. My only complaint was that the audio quality wasn't 100% clear so listening in the car had it's difficulties. It's not a major issue though.

A great story

This is a well developed storyline with interesting and believable characters that work well together and add flow to the book. Once you start you will not want to put it down. You will feel so many emotions in this book. The book is funny at times you may find yourself laughing out loud. You may even strike up your past feelings and may feel yourself in the predicaments. The trip to Galapagos was great, the descriptions were amazing. They made you feel you were there. A very nicely written book that I can recommend.

Save the credit

I don’t like to leave negative reviews or criticize writers putting their work into the world. I appreciate a number of things about this experience, including the spotlight on responsible ecotourism and conservation. But by the end, I was just annoyed listening to this book and wanted it to be over. It’s basically a woman who is a martyr for her career in a way that seems powered by immaturity turning down opportunities to enjoy herself and instead frantically muttering things like “my proposal” or “this promotion.” Supporting cast is all one-dimensional, and there is such a stretch to comment on every single social issue. It’s just a bit exhausting. Narration, while strong efforts were made especially for other accents, was a bit distracting. I was always acutely aware she was reading, and not the way I would have read it or preferred to hear it. And some of the pronunciations, like “button” as “buh-in” were a bit annoying. This seems a bit like nit-picking, and it wouldn’t have been a bit deal if it was a good story, but I found it sort of farcical at the end, over the top and I was rolling my eyes about it. I’m glad this book is over, I wish I hadn’t read it. And for those looking for racy sex scenes, this is a PG-13, chaste book. The female lead was hard to get behind, and the male lead kind of comes out of nowhere and is suddenly the perfect guy. Skip this one.

Funny, Romantic and very thoughtful!!

This was beautifully written and so much fun! But it also made you think about very important issues concerning our planet. I also loved the narration, her voice was raspy and so expressive!!

Nice refresher

I really enjoyed this book! A unique setting paired with a romance that is believable and satisfying to listen too. Not gonna lie, I looked up Galapagos adventure cruises after reading! Plus, the narration is awesome!

Changed my Mind

The narrator was amazing and kept me interested. I now want to go to the Gallapagoes (sp?), the details made my mind up of where I'm going next cruise.

good story but poor narration and audio.

this cute story has to do with 2 co-workers that are vying for promotion and are sent on a cruise with the company they work for in order to develop marketing ideas for a work promotion. the narration definitely needed improvement and the audio on this book was more monotone and base then I prefer when listening to an audiobook. I tried to adjust settings but even at the highest setting it was hard to hear without sounding muffled

Great Read

Shipped was a good read by Angie Hockman. Henley Evans is a marketing manager at a cruise line while taking night classes for her MBA. She barely has time for herself, and definitely not for family, friends or dating. She is shortlisted for her dream promotion, and now every trouble seems worth it. Unfortunately, Graeme Crawford-Collins, the remote social media manager, is also up for the position. They are both tasked with drafting a proposal to boost bookings in the Galapagos. The best proposal of the two will win the promotion. Although they are the bane of each others existence, they must go on a company cruise in the Galapagos together. Graeme is nothing like what Heney imagined. They both grow an attraction to each other although the promotion pits them against each other. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Sexy & Funny! - This book made me want to go to the Galápagos Islands

I vocally laughed out loud while listening to this audiobook. I found the cast of characters so relatable to my own twenty-something experience of the not so distant past. The book kept me laughing and enticed to the very end. I also love the elements of empowerment of women; romance and the need for us to be more eco friendly and sustainable when it comes to our travel. This book made me want to travel to the Galápagos Islands; somewhere I might not have wanted to ever go to had it not been for reading this wonderfully funny, sexy, and immersive book.
