Publisher's summary

The host of Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson Tonight offers a blistering critique of the new American ruling class, the elites of both parties, who have taken over the ship of state, leaving the rest of us, the citizen-passengers, to wonder: How do we put the country back on course?

A Small Dose of Sober Reality and Reason

As with Tucker's daily cable programming, his stories in this book challenge elitist orthodoxy and upper class dogma. This book leaves me feeling sorry for the challenges that my children must eventually face in light of the purposeful life I share with them every day. It is full of unreasonable hypocrisy and dozens of examples of the religion of foolish existence. If you are a thinking person with an open mind, this book is for you. If you are a social ideologue, this book is a MUST HAVE, although you may explode in a hale of sacrilege...

Spot on again!

Tucker is humble and precise! His facts are well said and clear enough for both the “right” and the “left.” Now I just have to pray that people will heed the warnings.

Fun

There is humor in the juxtaposition of logic and the leftist view of what would make governing more efficient. Less choice is not better for people. Diminishing the incentive for generations to move up by making hand outs the M.O. through taxation of the producers and providing it in ever greater quantities to those who choose to be less competitive (and yes a lot of it is choice, this is apparent in every workplace where people choose or choose not to be more diligent than anyone else) while simultaneously diminishing buying power and the value of currency and savings effectively leeching work and energy off the entire population is also a fool's short term strategy for power that must be renewing through constant propaganda to the masses.

The last statement of the book comes off as a request for the ruling class and their banks to be every so slightly more modest in their acquisition of energy from the masses, if only to diminish the chances the masses decide to become unreasonable; this is a good strategy bc enlightening the masses to keep everyone on the same page may not always be fast enough.

Books on the right fight for logic and the books on the left fight for feelings, it really does seem to be that ludicrous.

Tucker

Love Tucker’s quip and political knowledge. It was a first for me to get a political book, though not my favorite subject it’s definitely enlightening.
