The full package!
Shiloh, the Preacher’s Bride is a fabulously written, beautifully narrated mail order bride romance with depth. I though the characters were very well developed with thorough backstories. I really got to know their history, and felt as if I knew the challenges they faced. I understood their insecurities and what made them tick so to speak. It made hearing their store play out so much more enjoyable! And what a story! Angst, drama, romance, and joy! What more could I have asked for! All in all, a wonderful evening’s entertainment! Thank you Susannah Calloway and Didi Steyn!

Loved It!
I absolutely loved this story and I loved the narrator for bringing all the characters to life! Shiloh was a such a wonderful character and I absolutely loved reading things from both her perspective and from David’s perspectives since it allowed me to really see things from both points of view. This was my first time reading from this author and I absolutely will be reading more books from the author for sure!

I listened to Shiloh's story voiced by Dini Steyn.
My heart went out to Shiloh because people were cruel to her when they saw her facial scar. They could not look past the disfigurement to see the person is truly is until she met David and his daughter Ruth.

Cute story, though a bit short
This is a cute little story about Shiloh, who was scarred in an accident a few years ago, jeopardizing her chances in marriage.
She signs up to be a mail order bride and ends up betrothed to a widowed preacher - who hasn’t actually fully processed the loss of his wife.
It is a sweet little story with many many lovely elements, though at times it feels like it could have been built out even more.
The narrator has a lovely warmth in her voice and captures the dialogues between Shiloh and the preacher quite well. However, the narration is a bit more of a reading than performance, albeit still engaging and very enjoyable.
