The two detectives have to fight their inner conflicts when they work to solve a case that involves a network of killer wolves that have a macabre plan.

On their journey, Oscar and Samantha will become enemies of wolf shifters and will have to constantly be on the run and at the edge of risk. They will need to fight the shifters while at the same time avoiding exposure of the shifter world to the rest of society. Their inner conflicts will be challenged when they are each forced to face their past as it relates to the current investigation. The last thing they expect is that they will form a bond that connects them deeply. A bond that threatens each one's sense of independence. What starts out as physical attraction soon develops into something more, and they begin to see each other as the missing part to complete their lives.
