Mating is just the beginning
I enjoyed Marrok and Tala’s marriage of convenience, wolf shifter, fated mates romance with a side of danger. Tala is the alpha of the Canis pack. Marrok is the alpha of the Banes pack. They agree to an arranged mating in order to end the generations long pack feud. The mating ceremony was the easy part but learning to be alphas together and integrate the packs is more difficult than they thought it would be. Despite being short, the story was well written and included witty dialogue, good world building, characters with dimension and an engaging storyline. I will definitely be continuing with this series.
Marnye Young did a good job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters convincingly.
