Publisher's Summary

The fate of the world rests on the shoulders of four sexy dragon shifters and the woman they’re sworn to serve.

It's time for me to embrace my destiny as the next Black Dragon, the one who can control all five elements and bring balance to the realms.

I've bonded with two of my mates, Jasin and Auric, and now we continue our journey so I can become intimate with Slade and Reven. It’s a race against the dragons we’re meant to overthrow, who will do anything to stop us from fulfilling our destiny.

We’re going to need allies if we want to defeat the dragons, even if that means confronting the dark secrets of our pasts. But death and destruction follow us at every turn, and unlocking the hearts of my last two mates seems nearly impossible.

When all seems lost, will love be enough to save us?

Skate the Earth is the third book in this steamy fantasy-romance series full of dark secrets, dangerous enemies, and smoldering desires.

Amazing!!!

I really like this series it has a great world building as well as interesting characters. I don’t usually like reverse heroine books but this one has such an intriguing story line that I really enjoy. Plus the dual narrations is perfect in bringing each character to life. Highly recommend

I enjoyed the story

So far I enjoyed the whole series. The main character has grown over the last three books and her male counterpart have evolved and are growing into their roles answer me. My only issue is the female main character can be a little whiny when it comes to her male mates feelings. She want them to love her unconditionally after only four weeks basically. I like the fact that two of her mates are reluctant and share it although they will take on their roles they also can’t love her right away. That makes it more realistic but it makes her look desperate for wanting it so bad so soon.

This is book 3 in the series. And boy o boy what a series. This one is with the earth elements with Kyra and her mates .

Heroine is Kira . Heros are her 4 mates
This story is how Slade must decide that in order for him and Kira to bond , he , they must go threw his village to get to the earth Temple. Everyone wants to spend a few days in his village, to rest and get their bearings . There is a surprise when out of the four dragons that serve the black dragon , Kira finds out who her father is . Slade and Kira and their party go up the mountains and meet the resistance. They stay with the resistance people and make plans. The plans is to distract the four dragons so Kira and Slade get to bond , While at the temple an accident happens, actually more then one . One of Kiras mates get injured, near death . There was only one way to save him. And the resistance leader gets killed.
There are many more incidents that happen, I don’t want to mention it and spoil it you need to get it

That Cliffhanger!!

The author progresses the story with Kira and her men in the Earth realm. You really need to have read or listened to the first two books in the series to understand this book. There are some bombshell details in this book that change the game and it is super intense. The cliffhanger is phenomenal and I'm so glad book 4 is already out so I don't have to wait to listen to how it finally ends.

I've enjoyed Lia's narration throughout the series and this book in the series is no exception. She really helps bring out the sensual nature of some part of the book and gives another great performance. I've also enjoyed Stephen's narration throughout the series, however, I thought his performance in this book was better than the first two. The dramatization was more apparent he was able to really bring out more passion as Slade. He also had a little better voice differentiation for the four men.

I received a review copy at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

The Fate Of The World - Not much pressure then!

This book, the third in this series, picks up where the second book finished. Kira has now bonded with two of her mates, Jason and Auric but still has to bond with Slade and Revin. All the characters continue to develop and grow, new facets are revealed as they get to know each other better.

This book is more about Slade and Kira as they head to the Earth Temple to complete their bond. Slade finally tells Kira about his past which helps her understand why he's been holding himself back. Kira and the guys realize that they are going to need help to complete their task and decided to look for allies.

Reven continues to hold himself apart - hurting Kira in the process as her bonds with the other three continue to strengthen, Reven is proving to be intriguing, how will his bond with Kira work with him holding back?

The author reveals more about Kira's past, who her parents are and how to better use the magic they have already received.

Once they reach the Earth temple the story really takes a surprising turn, there are so many revelations and new developments happening so quickly I found myself on the edge of my seat.

This book ends on a very surprising cliffhanger, and I am intrigued to find out how Ms. Briggs is going to finish off this exciting and different series. As with the previous books in this series the narration by Lia Langola, Stephen Dexter is so well done each of them delivers a performance that is without fault.

I was given a copy of this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

A great addition to the series

This is book 3 in the series and it should be read in order. Kira's past is unfolding as we travel along with her and her mates to the Earth Realm. Slade seems more distant than the other mates. I had a hard time liking him. But the sex scenes were still as hot as ever. Shake the Earth starts slowly but the ending is intense. Better have the fourth book loaded and ready to play, because the cliffhanger is EPIC!! I really enjoyed finding out more about Kira and her parents. The relationships between her and her mates are growing stronger and it is fun to follow their evolutions. I cannot wait to listen to the conclusion.

Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter once again narrate this story. I am thrilled that they have narrated the entire series. It keeps the characters consistent and the flow of the books seamless. Lia Langola is superb in her narration of Kira. Kira comes to life through Ms Langola's narration. Ms Langola is amazing at narrating the male characters. She uses different tones to seperate each character consistently. Lia Langola has a sultry voice that is easy to listen to. Stephen Dexter compliments Lia Langola in his narration. Mr Dexter also easily keeps the characters distinctly different and easy to follow. He brings out the alpha in all the males. Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter are a wonderful narrating team for this story.

LOVE IT

Another great book in this series! I love finding out more about each of the guys and getting to know them. How they help her grow and change as well. The characters and the challenges they face are pretty great. The book passes so quickly because you don't want it to ever stop! The narrators really help pull you into the story and perform it with passion. They are great at bringing this audiobook to life. I love this book and do not want the next book to be the final one!!
