Shadows of Magnolia is a lavish period romance set in the days before the civil war. The story is engaging and sometimes tragic. The narrator of the audiobook does a good job.

This is part of a series, but I have not read the other books, and it works find independently. There is a romantic sex scene in the book, so I would recommend this book for adult readers.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.
