Good 👍but...
I loved this series but this last one felt out of sync. Sam made huge leaps in power and responsibility with very little change in her overall maturity. The jumps in perspective and time meant it felt like there was very little in the way of emotional growth in the characters. It was an amusing and interesting saga I encourage all to read it but know it feels more action packed and less character based. To say nothing of the r
fact that it reads like an RPG.

Droka, The Deceiver!
The fate of Earth hangs in the balance. Droka, The Deceiver, a massive crocodile on two legs must be stopped. The Shadow Mystic was here for vengeance and justice. If ever there had been an OP Hero, she had entered that level. The fight with Droka was exhilarating, all of Samantha’s powers on display. Where is Hadrian? Advancing to the position of Elder in the Citadel, and her reunion with Dex, Samantha was exuberant. A very good series. I enjoyed it.

Truly a fantastic conclusion to this characters...
I loved this book series and i highly enjoyed how this book ended. I would highly suggest starting this series if you have not done so up till this point. There isn't much to say other than this book helps wrap up the series quite well and allows us to understand how Sam gets wrapped up in this mess far further than anyone anticipated up till now. Check out Sloan's other work for more great works and fun adventures.
