Lust and hormones

I get aggravated when erotica is disguised as romance. When it started out, I thought that was what this book was going to be all about. So I seriously considered to stop listening. But I continued on because I liked the first book of the series so much. It’s a good thing I did because as the book progressed it was made clear why it was all about lust and hormones at the beginning. Sex is so much easier than romance. In the end, I did not enjoy this book as much but I like the continuation of the story.

I absolutely loved Shadow's story when I read it, but this narrator brings Shadow to life!!!

Another sweet hea

Two damaged people work there way through to an hea. Loved the story and I enjoyed Zachary’s narration. I quite like romances with a male narrator. I’ll have to read the next story as it isn’t in audible.

The storyline was good but the characters were not developed with real detail. I feel letdown.

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as book one. Basically I just struggled with listening to the woman’s parts read by a man. It’s just very unpleasant to listen to the female parts because of the voice. Book one needed a woman’s voice, but I could get past that a lot easier than I could in book 2. The story was just unpleasant to listen to because of the issue of the woman’s voice. I had a hard time getting into the book because I kept having problem with the voice. It became extremely unpleasant when a female parts are read out loud. I found it hard to concentrate on the story because I was cringing whenever “she” spoke. If the voices don’t matter to you then I guess this would be an OK book to “read”.
