Lust and hormones
I get aggravated when erotica is disguised as romance. When it started out, I thought that was what this book was going to be all about. So I seriously considered to stop listening. But I continued on because I liked the first book of the series so much. It’s a good thing I did because as the book progressed it was made clear why it was all about lust and hormones at the beginning. Sex is so much easier than romance. In the end, I did not enjoy this book as much but I like the continuation of the story.

Two damaged people work there way through to an hea. Loved the story and I enjoyed Zachary’s narration. I quite like romances with a male narrator. I’ll have to read the next story as it isn’t in audible.

Stop everything and listen to this book right now!
I can’t believe Alana Khan is a new writer, she’s that good. I’ve read and listened to her stories of love and adventure and they’re super exciting!
Everything is perfect; her world building is REAL, the dialogue between characters revealing, the events breathtaking.
I’d recommend her books to anyone who loves
sci-fi romance.

A bit dry but still interesting
The storyline was fine, it was a bit dry but held an important message about redemption and survival. The narrator did not do a good job with female characters; his voice never changed which is probably the reason for the story seeming a bit dry and lifeless. Could use a female narrator to team up with Zachery.
