Almost but Not Quite

This was not bad but not as good as the other books. I understand the cute humor in Mandy's inner dialogue but there was so much of it you find yourself wondering if the story will ever progress. The plot line of the neverending one night stand was fun, I did like that but I wanted a HEA. I wanted an epilogue that showed her as his old lady in the future. Felt like I suffered through Mandy's inner babble for an ended that was not filling.

Great Book to listen to

This book is about Shade wanting Mandy. Mandy has issues with men in her life. She was working as a waitress after she got away from her ex. She moved in with her sister and family to help her but she keeps getting in to trouble. This book is worth reading and buying.

Great Novella!

Strong addition to the Reapers storyline. Fun and entertaining. Surprised that one reviewer found the female lead weak because that was not my impression at all.

The story finds a way for two people who openly intend to be single, to enjoy each other and even have a happy ending. The narration was excellent.

I am SO happy to hear My favorite narrators back at it! It's just not a Reapers audio book without them! I loved the story and hung on every word! (Of course!) my only complaint is that I want more!

Seriously... you cannot go wrong with the Reapers. Ever.

I wish I coud never eat breakfast with Shade!

Mandy is is down on her luck. She not only got involved in a crime she knew nothing about, but she had been sent to jail because of it. Now, she is in Violetta, Idaho working as a waitress so that she can help her sister raise her three kids. She would love to be free, to travel and to experience things in life, but she has to stay put until her probation is over. This is all because she trusted the wrong man.

Once she moved to town she met Rebel. She enjoyed hanging out with his biker friends and more importantly riding on his bike. But once again, she put her trust into someone she shouldn't. Now she is forced to pay the consequences of his actions.

I have to say, I completely devoured this book. Joanna Wylde has created a world in he Reaper's MC series that I never want to leave. Her characters always have a darker side to them, but underneath, their intentions are pure. You can't help but fall in love with them as they storm their way into your heart. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.

PS - The audio version of this book only enhances Joanna's talent as an author. Tatiana Sokolov and Sean Crisden do an amazing job of keeping my interest and bringing the characters to life.

great story line , but she is a complete bitch and acts like she the only one who was hurt.......

I’ve been binging on this MC series by Joanna Wylde and I’m thinking this is my absolute favorite! Loved it.

Wylde NEVER let's me down!

I hope JW forgives my tardiness in listening to this novella. I LOVED IT! I have been searching for something good to listen to for months and stumbled across this book. I am so glad I did. Wylde never let's you down when it comes to spinning a yarn. Her books are escapism at its best! If you are looking for a good MC novel, Wylde is the among the best. I know I am giving a fan girl vibe, but honestly I wish she could write more quickly! I cannot wait for her next book!
