Very informative n

This book is very enlightening. It is written in simple terms for those considering joining the BD/SM lifestyle. I like that the author divided each role in the lifestyle into their own sections, submissive & dominant roles. This helped me as a reader to better understand the two roles & what is expected within the lifestyle.

Enlightening Book for Those Interested in BDSM

I found this book very interesting and enlightening. Not only does the author provide guidance on being a submissive, she includes examples and advice on entering and maintaining safe, healthy, consensual relationships with BDSM partners.

While women are traditionally thought of as submissives, the wealth of information contained here can apply to men as well, and bonus chapters with additional information are included at the end.

The narrator is excellent. She is clear and crisp and moves the book along at just the right pace.

Overall a fascinating listen. Highly recommended for individuals interested in BDSM as well as those merely curious about the lifestyle.

Thank you for the arc audio, I voluntary to give an honest review. the narrator did a very good job of telling of this book. with this book you get a more in-depth analysis of the bdsm scenes from the different between subs and slaves. how dominance should learn the signs of the what the sub likes/dislikes. it goes more in detail of pet play, age play, and sub-space. explains the different between the 50 shades of grey vs reality. this was a very well written book, if you just learning I would recommend this book.

This is a valuable resource for anyone who wants more information about the bdsm lifestyle and its subcultures. It deals mainly
with D/s relationship and senerios. Details and explanations are clear and easily understood. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

Author does a great job being highly informative and addresses a number of styles or ways to incorporate this lifestyle into your own or just give you an understanding of what BDSM really is.

Sex: Introduction to the Submissive Lifestyle

This was an interesting book. It gives some good advice on how to begin a journey into another lifestyle. For those that need a little help understanding the way some things work and what you need to think about this book gives some good advice. Whether or not you are interested or just curious about the lifestyle of submission this book gives you some ways to understand and begin your quest to find your way. As helpful as this book is there were still a few things that bothered me. Throughout the whole book it seemed to focus on the submissive always enjoying being degraded. The narration continues to use examples of the submissive being humiliated or degraded and it being mutual and consensual and that everyone is different, but it never gives an example of a Dom and sub relationship that did not seem to be about degrading the sub. I would have loved to see different kinds of relationships played out instead of focusing on only those kinds of couples. I did like how the author continues to explain that everything must be talked about and agreed on. That everyone in the relationship must be on equal footing and the need for good communication is continually mentioned. This book makes some good and valid points and is worth a listen.

A quick and shallow peek into bdsm

If you're looking for an in depth, material for reflection, safety aware and/or sexually inspiring book about BDSM, this is not for you. The book in it self is not bad, but it only manages to just skim what BDSM really is, keeping it objective all the way. It's a shame, because BDSM is so subjective that presenting this subject objectively, completely removes anything exciting about it. There is a few nice peices of information in there, so it's not completely devoid of effort, but for me this audiobook was a chore to listen through and it left me surprised, that someone could possibly present such an exciting subject, so badly.

Also as a foot note: The reader has a bad habit of pronouncing "women" as "woman". So if something likes this will annoy you, this is a heada up
